Bio and Links
Bio Photo MY PHOTOS:

If you would like to use my grave images for any non-commercial purpose, I release them to you under a creative commons non-commercial license. No further permission is required or requested. If you'd like to leave me a public "thank you," I assure you that will put a smile on my face.

GPS COORDINATES:

Most of my photos taken in 2013 or later have GPS coordinates embedded. If you want to find the coordinates of a grave, and the memorial does not display coordinates, you can check if the image has GPS metadata. How to do this:

1) Click on the small image so you get the big image page.

2) Right-click on the image in the big image page and choose "Copy image URL"

3) Go to Jeffrey's EXIF viewer utility.

4) Paste the URL (it should end in .jpg) into the "Image URL" field on Jeffrey's site and press the button "View Image at URL". It should give you a lot of data like this example.

5) Scroll down to where it says GPS Latitude and GPS Longitude. If the image has GPS coordinates, you will see them there.

MY MEMORIALS:

My primary interests have been the historic cemeteries of Rehoboth, Swansea, and Providence, with excursions to Fall River and Somserset, and as far away as Maine and New York.

Of course, sometimes I make mistakes. Send me a correction by using the little "edit" button in the memorial. If your edits require more than a click, I may transfer the memorial to you.

TRANSFERS

I am interested in photography, genealogy, and history, not in maintaining databases. Therefore, I have a very liberal transfer policy. I'm glad to transfer any memorial to anyone who is sincerely interested in taking good care of it. I don't care if you are a relative or not. The only exceptions might be my own family members.

RE: Thank you
Thanks for the web link. I'll book mark it, as I have many more questions. I checked for Nathaniel Bump in the list. There was one, but he is the son of Nathaniel Bump (b. about 1794-d.?) who married Eliza Corpe (Corps) . Not the right one.
Deacon Nathaniel Bump was baptized with 5 other siblings (en mass) in 1788 in the First Church of Wareham MA, so likely born around 1783-4, similar to his wife, Anna Griggs, and considering his age at death in 1860 at 86. The Nathaniel Bump (1824 - 13 JAN 1897) listed could be a son of Deacon Nathaniel married Anna Griggs who married 1806, but I don't thinks so. I believe this listed, Nathaniel Bump (1824-1897) married Harriet Luther in 1853 and is the son of Nathaniel Bump (1794-) and Eliza Corpe who married in 1813, but no information on the latters' deaths, at all. Nathaniel (1794-) is alone in 1850 and with his daughter, Adeline, and her family in 1860. (There is more, but I'll save you the detail unless requested. (I've been trying to trace all of the Nathaniel Bumps in Rhode Island.)

Thank you
I very much appreciated your memorial page and photograph of the grave marker for Anna (Griggs) Bump (#83853824.) I could read from the photo the entire inscription!
I can't locate the grave site for her husband, Nathaniel Bump, on find a grave. I would think he would have been buried next to or with her. Do you have any information? Deacon Nathaniel Bump died 25 Dec 1860 at 86. The memorial for Nathaniel's mother, Elizabeth (Barrows) Bump (83853702) is another memorial that you manage and photographed the grave marker. Elizabeth Barrows Bump is also a verified Mayflower descendant. I will send you a link to the memorial for the youngest daughter, Eliza. I haven't located grave sites for another daughter, Lucy Bump Greene, who died in Ohio, and other children. I will submit a bio. later.
Your hard work and dedication are very much appreciated. You've allowed me to link family. Thank you again.

RE: Photos
I must have just missed you, as I was there also. Curious, I noticed you must have responded to several of the photo requests - the ones unanswered, was that because you couldn't find them or you didn'y get to them?
