|L Hanks||RE: Otto Duke|
Hello, Thanks for doing the updates for Otto. He and my Dad are 1st cousins. I have been trying to link all this family together. I would be happy to take over the memorial. I am going to create one for a brother of his that doesn't have one also. Thanks for your work, I appreciate it.

Thanks for the message! I sent you a request for Jacob and Anna.

I got the date from a great nephew's info. You're right, death certificates are usually accurate. I would like a copy of the death certificate. They often have other useful information. I recently received a batch of photos from a Good Samaritan who rescued them and I'm trying to match them to members of the extended families.

Thank you soo much for your assist. I can then remove her Death Certificate photo from her page. I did request a photo for her page, even placed the Burial location with-in the request. Hopefully, there is a marker, if not, I can note that fact on her page, and someone else will not request a photo for a non-existant marker. Again, thank you for your assist.

|RDL||RE: Balser and Lydia Manges in Indiana Soldiers Home Cemetery|
No problem - I will defer to your research and edit the IVH card file and electronic records to show "Manges" as the preferred spelling.

|Harold Steenbergen||RE: Cephas and George Patterson|
George Gregg Patterson is my great grandfather on my mother's side. His son is Verne Corbly Patterson. Note the middle names and where they came from.
Gregg is from lt John Gregg m Cassandra Corbly.
Corbly is from Rev Corbly m Linn, (the father of Cassandra). Interesting to see the name repeats.
I may make one correction. George is buried in the Tahoma Cem in Yakima. I was thinking of Verne, and he is buried with his wife, Gertrude Newland in the Terrace Heights Cem, Yakima. They are next to my mother, Julia Marie Patterson Steenbergen. She is with all the Steenbergens in that cemetery.
George Gregg Patterson, 4 Aug 1861 - 8 May 1936, should be listed as one of the sons of Daniel Thompson Patterson.
George moved to Yakima, Washington and is buried there.
|Harold Steenbergen||Cephas Patterson #28731426|
Cephas died in Twisp, Washington, where he had his western home. His brother George Gregg Patterson kept in contact with him. George went to see Cephas but Cephas died before Gaorge arrived. George made arrangements to ship the body of Cephas back to El Paso, Ill, where Cephas was born.
George Gregg Patterson, born 04 Aug 1861, died 08 May 1936, Yakima, Yakima, Washington. George should be listed as a sibling. George is buried in Terrace Heights Cemetery, Yakima.
