Hello: My name is Bill Kazupski and I am a resident of the City of Chicago. I live on the far south side of Chicago, blocks from a few of the south and southwest Chicago suburbs.|
I come from a family of Chicago police officers. My father spent over 30 years with the force and both my brothers and I am currently a Chicago police homicide detective and have been with the Chicago police department for over 25 years. My mother is a nurse and my one sister works for Loyola Hospital.
I enjoy being a volunteer with Find-A-Grave because it allows me to get my walking exercise in while helping others. Kind of killing two birds with one stone as they say.
The following cemeteries are within walking distance from my residence:
Chapel Hill Gardens (South)
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery
Burr Oaks - Due to this cemetery digging up burial plots and dumping the coffins and bodies, this cemetery is the focus of national media and news outlets. It is a historical black cemetery operated by African Americans. It is currently shut down to the public as the criminal investigation is in progress. (Update: This cemetery has re-opened under new management)
Feel free to e-mail with any requests for these cemeteries.
Good Luck To All!

|Mary Bateman||Margaret Tobin|
Hi Bill, Thank you for the new picture. Yes, would you please remove the ones from Margaret's that don't belong? I would really appreciate it. Thanks again for all you do.
|Mary Bateman||Margaret Tobin|
Hi Bill, Thank you, again, for your help. I have changed Mary Margaret's name just to Margaret as that is how she is listed in the cemetery plot. It is Lot 183 Blk 24 Gr 1. In the same plot are her nephews, Frederick d. 12 Jun 1887 and Stuart Crowley d. 13 Nov 1898. She died Jul 1886 per her obit although the cemetery office has 1887. I hope this clears things up and I will be putting in memorials for the nephews and photo requests as well. You've really helped me alot with my Crowley / Tobin family and I really appreciate it. If you have any more questions please let me know. Mary in CA
Awesome, thank you very much!

P.S. I made a memorial for the P. H. Caufield in the same lot (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=144219094) if you don't mind adding the photo of his stone to his memorial? Thank you!!

|Mary Bateman||Mary Margaret Tobin Lot 183 not Lot 193|
1868 - 1886
Hi Wm, The legend on her memorial that you added is for Section 24 Lot 193. Matthew Tobin is her brother and his family. I don't know who the Reilly or Deacon's are. Mary Margaret Tobin is buried in Lot 183 Blk 24 Gr 1 per the office when I set up her memorial back in 2013. She died 29 Jan 1886 and I don't see that date or one in early Feb 1886 that could possibly be her burial date. I live in CA and the office is now closed. I will check again tomorrow to see if they gave me the wrong info but the legend you added doesn't seem to show her. I hope to get back to you tomorrow. Thanks, Mary
|Mary DeDanan||thank you!|
Dear Mr. Kazupski,
Thank you so much for finding and photographing my grandmother's grave. It means a lot to me. I appreciate your help.
Mary Frances DeDanan
Thank you so much for your time and effort. The picture of the Valiquet graves is wonderful and I appreciate that you sent all of them rather than cutting Benjamin out!
