I'm a history/genealogy buff researching my Holcomb and Gossoo ancestors, among others. I have been intrigued by cemeteries ever since I was a kid. I began photographing gravestones when I was a high school student. Many photos of graves in Greene & Ulster County, NY taken over the years. Currently living in Western NY and filling photo requests in Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Steuben and Yates Counties. I am working on locating small abandoned cemeteries that are not yet listed on Find-a-Grave, and also graves of veterans from the French & Indian Wars, Revolutionary War, and War of 1812.|
I am happy to transfer memorials or make corrections as needed; use the "Suggest a Correction" link found on the "Edit" tab of any of my memorials.
PLEASE NOTE: If I fill your photo request, I promise not to do any damage to your family member's gravestones. I will not use chalk, shaving cream, or any other potentially harmful methods to enhance the inscriptions.
"People will not look forward to posterity, who never look backward to their ancestors."-- Edmund Burke (1729 - 1797)
As you visit these virtual graves, have you given any thought to where you will spend eternity? "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" -- Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." -- Romans 6:23
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." -- Romans 5:8
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;" -- Romans 10:9
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -- Romans 10:13
Have you accepted this gift?==================================

Hello: I see you submitted 2 photos of the Benton Cemetery in Penn Yann, NY. I am working on a memorial for the cemetery....Rebecca T. Wynants. I would very much like your permission to post your cemetery sign photo. In the alternative if you could post it directly I would also be very appreciative.
I understand that she has no headstone there or I would request a headstone photo.
Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the two Hunt transfers.
Just wanted to stop by and wish you and yours a "Merry Christmas" and a most "Blessed New Year".
Hope all is well in your corner of the world.
By the Grace of God, my world is gradually beginning to move forward again. I thank God everyday for my 7 remaining children and 13 grandchildren, they are Truly the Joy of my life.
My husband left a wonderful enriched legacy, in riches that no amount of money could ever buy, the knowing of our destiny for eternity, the strength in the bond of our family and memories to share again and again for the rest of our mortal lives.
Much Peace and Many Blessings to You and Yours,

Thanks SO much for the photo of Clyde & Effie's headstone - He was a great-Uncle for whom my father was named - I can't believe it took me over a year to see that you'd done it!
