|Love to all who record history through this medium!!!|
Please copy pictures if you desire.
My pictures have survived house fires, floods, tornadoes, family breakups and the Great Rebellion. They have been transported miles in a wagon or handcart, trains, planes and automobiles. Some were carried by soldiers to wars in all parts of the world.
Enjoy them to honor those who protected them!!
It gives me great joy when I find a photo posted on Ancestry.com that I have taken and have shared only on findagrave.
Anyone who desires please upload your pictures to my memorials.

|Marcy Hammers||James Wesley Burney # 50717135|
Luann, My name is Marcy Hammers, my Find A Grave Member # 47911021. I am a direct descendant of the Burney Family. James's mother's name is Elizabeth Looney she was born 22 Aug 1836 in Walnut Grove, Greene County, Missouri & died 20 Feb 1866 in Greene County, Missouri. I am looking to see if she as a memorial on Find A Grave, because I don't have a burial record for her yet. If I find her I will post a memorial for her.
His father is John D. Fletcher Burney, born 9 Oct. 1832, Guilford County, North Carolina & died 20 Dec. 1862, Greene County, Missouri. He was shot during the Civil War. I don't have a burial place for him either. I am looking for him, so when I find him if nobody has a Find A Grave Memorial site for him I will post one. Mary M. Dotson was his wife she was born 1862 & died 1898 in Greene County, Missouri. Her Find A Grave Memorial # 50717164. If you could link James & Mary together that would be great.Their children are:Elza James (Dan) Burney born 8 Oct. 1890, Dade County, Missouri & died 11 April 1963, Republic, Greene County, Missouri & is buried in Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove, Greene County, MO.;Infant Son Burney born 8 Nov 1886, Dade County, MO & died 15 Jun 1887, Dade County, MO & is buried in Turkey Creek Cemetery, Walnut Grove, Greene County, Missouri & I believe you have Wiley Mack Burney listed. I thought you might want to add his brothers to his memorial. Thank you
|Theresa Wyrick||John Fleming|
You listed birth, death and burial information for a John Fleming a few months ago, and wonder if you could give me some insight into where you obtained this information.
Ancestry.com has cited parish records that seem to line up with the info you've given, yet when I scan the actual parish records, I'm finding nothing listing him at all.

I'm so glad to have found the information you posted about the family. Polk & Dallas counties had a lot of traffic between them and Taney County--people traveled a lot more than we give them credit for, particularly in the middle of the 19th century. :)

Thank you for your attitude regarding your precious pictures, just wish more had the same thought. It's wonderful to put a picture to a name in my tree.

They are distant relatives
|Brian Futrell||Basil Jerome Boritzki|
Do you know anything about the Boritzki family? I am especially interested in Basil's father, William or Wilhelm Boritzki. Do you know where I can find any information about him? I know he came here from Prussia in about 1880 and moved to Springfield, MO in about 1917. Are any of the descendants still around? Thanks for your help. Brian
