I work in Prague Okla and am on the Sparks Volunteer Fire Dept. When I was younger I couldnt stand doing History now I find myself going through the old county history books and looking for old towns and their forgotten cemeteries. I try to take pictures of everything I can because so many are fading and their are so many that were veterans of different wars. I also found that those considered to be black cemeteries are rarely documented because they were believed unimportant I find that very sad that anyone should be forgotten so if you do this to please get everyone. Everyone has family who loves them somewhere no matter who they are.|

Thank you Angela for the transfer, the updates to the Memorial and for permission to use the photo that has been saved on Find A Grave. Have a blessed day!

Thank you for transferring the wonderful memorial you created into my care, it is very much appreciated. Also, thank you for all your time and sharing you have given here on Find a Grave!

I changed her name, but the birth & death dates are correct as they are. You may not have looked closely enough at the stone. Thank you.

I really messed up on that one. Thanks for letting me know.

|Cindy||Polly & Bill Brownfield photo|
Just wanted to drop a note and say thanks so much for posting the headstone photo for Polly and son Bill Brownfield. I have been trying to get this photo for many years not just here but from various family members and folks that have been doing cleaning work at the cemetery as well. You are the only one to help and it is greatly appreciated! I noticed first thing that the dates on the stone are different than the dates I had in my files for Polly, possibly the reason I havent been able to find as much info about her as I would like. I would like to ask if it is OK if I download the photo and share it with other family members working on this same family line at our family site at MyFamily.com? With every photo I use from find a grave I ALWAYS credit the photo to the person who took it and shared it and I also credit Find A Grave as well. Again thanks for taking the time to take this photo and to share it with me.

|Jim Tipton||RE: duplicates|
I ran the de-dupe script on that cemetery and it did find and remove six duplicates. I think three of them were yours. I understand the frustration when they are spelled differently or something, but our policy is still to merge the newer ones into the older ones and get the spelling corrected.
