MISSION: I believe Find A Grave's mission first and foremost is to document cemeteries; to accurately record graves, not to build one's family tree.|
Find A Grave FAQs says: Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.
Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.
Find a Grave memorials [may] contain rich content including pictures, biographies and more specific information. Members can leave remembrances via 'virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.
TRANSFERS (PLEASE READ): Per Find A Grave FAQs, Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred.
I will consider making out-of-guideline transfers on a case-by-case basis. Please tell me your specific relationship to the one you want transferred to you. I need specifics not vague statements such as this is my family member, my relative or they are in my family tree. IF YOU AREN'T SPECIFIC, I WILL IGNORE/DELETE YOUR REQUEST. Please be considerate when asking.
This is guidelines set forth by Find A Grave. If you don't agree with them, please take it up with Find A Grave.

Before you judge,

Thank You. Sorry but I don't know what you declined. This was several weeks back and I remember asking to have Hilda's dates added to her data the Christ Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Holton. I see that has been done. I also requested that Hilda's name be removed from the Abbotsford, WI Cemetery listing as she was not buried there. I see this has been done also. I don't understand your comment about her being born in the town of Hull.
Thanks for correcting things.

I agree with you about yours being first. I just thought since so much was already on the other one, it would be easier. Updates were sent in for the duplicate but a merge is fine. Thanks for helping when I find a problem. Appreciate your help.

I had noted that find-a-grave had the spouse attached already when I went to request an edit several times. I have not been removing those "already filled in" fields. I have no idea why this is happening now, as I have not seen it in the past. Thanks for manually adding the parents for me.
Thanks for posting these folks. I have been helped tremendously by the information on Find-a-grave.

I am wondering if you are related to John William Haun, a memorial you added and left a flower? He is a distant relative and I am just curious. Thanks.

Glad to help out. It's nice to see so many people working together to make Roselawn more complete. Good work by all! Dale

You are very welcome!
No, I don't mind at all that you add some of the info I am able to locate to the memorials. However, I did notice that I misspelled 'bookkeeper' on Anna's bio info :( You have my permission to please correct any errors I make :) anytime!
I'm not one of those that cares one iota about being credited for any info I'm fortunate enough to find for any memorial! So, that's entirely up to you, but not necessary for my ego! It's just important to me that it's found, and as accurate as is humanly possible.

|RDunn||RE: Antonia, Domingo & Macario Pedregon Edits|
Orosi and Cutler were taken from the social security death index which says "last residence," such as Orosi or Cutler. The California Death index says simply Tulare. So the SSDI saying Orosi or Cutler in this case may not be exactly accurate if there are no hospitals in those towns. Ancestry.com does not publish California death certificates to say where exactly someone died. If you have more accurate information, please feel free to suggest those edits. I hope this helps. Thanks.
