Bio Photo MISSION: I believe Find A Grave's mission first and foremost is to document cemeteries; to accurately record graves, not to build one's family tree.

Find A Grave FAQs says: Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

Find a Grave memorials [may] contain rich content including pictures, biographies and more specific information. Members can leave remembrances via 'virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.

TRANSFERS (PLEASE READ): Per Find A Grave FAQs, Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred.

I will consider making out-of-guideline transfers on a case-by-case basis. Please tell me your specific relationship to the one you want transferred to you. I need specifics not vague statements such as this is my family member, my relative or they are in my family tree. IF YOU AREN'T SPECIFIC, I WILL IGNORE/DELETE YOUR REQUEST. Please be considerate when asking.

This is guidelines set forth by Find A Grave. If you don't agree with them, please take it up with Find A Grave.

RE: Behlings
Thank you for the Behling transfers. They are related and it's kind of you to offer.
Merry Christmas!

RE: Jill Block
Thanks for checking on this. I ran into the other memorial by accident. On checking on this in detail I think you are right and have given her a "proper burial" [heh heh]. There is some confusion given all the St. John's cemeteries in the area but the obits clearly indicate the one in Clark County near Riplinger and Unity and not the one in Marathon County East of Spencer. I'll send the dup notice to the other one. I should have checked further before a message to you. You seem to do extraordinary and cautious research before posting a memorial.

RE: Edit for Evelyn Duha
Hello Kathy.
Got the answer from Roger: Good morning. Question on Roland Eulgem and Evelyn Duha. Weren’t married. Lived together for years and years.
So I will change my information, and glad you caught my error.

RE: Edit for Evelyn Duha
Hello Kathy,
I'm working with Roger Forde, National Cemt. Board, and he provided me the map of the cemetery. She shares a stone with Roland Eulgem in the North Block 4, Lot F 7, Graves 3 & 4. The lot north of them North Block 4, Lot F 8, Graves 1 & 2 are for Dale and Earl Duha.
The lot for her parents, John & Clara Duha are in the South Block 5, Lot C 1, Graves 3 & 4

Don't make the change - I'll check with Roger, since it's a later burial 2007, and why is she sharing a stone with Roland Eulgem? He says lots of the records aren't up to date...We'll get to the bottom of this.

I'm working on a book for the cemetery, my sister and photographed the entire cemetery last July while visiting my nephew, Father Victor Feltes at the St. Wenceslaus church. My sister and I also did the St. Wenceslaus and the Catholic Church in Wauazeka. The books are at the church in Eastman.

RE: Eliberto Hernandez Garcia
I just looked on Tulare Obituary Index and found that there is an obituary for Eliberto H. Garcia paper dated July 7, 1995 and his age as 40. It was in the Tulare Advance Register. If he was forty, then the date of birth on the stone is correct. I will go to the Tulare Library next week and get a copy of the obituary and will email you a copy. The library is about half mile from me. Will let you know. Thanks so much for checking. Henry

RE: William Morley
I am new at this and love bringing everything up to date but not sure how to add siblings when I have control over the memorial - do you know how to do it?
