Hi. I think the wrong photo is posted for Wilhelm Bastman. His wife's memorial photo is correct. Thanks.

RE: Patricia Bowen
I don't know, but the plot next to Bosch is Bowen, so I thought maybe when you meant to type in Bosch, it auto-corrected to something you had already typed. Have a great day!

Levus Reed Linville Sr. Headstone

I am wondering if you can help me locate and photograph my great grandfather's headstone which I believe is located at the Sunset Cemetery in Lakeview OR. I noticed you took a pic of the cemetery sign.

He served in World War One and has a military headstone. He was born in 1898 and died in 1974.

If he isn't buried there than he is buried at the IOOF Cemetery in Lakeview. He died in Lakeview OR. My ancestors who have since passed told me they went to his service in Lakeview.

I would greatly appreciate your time in locating his grave and photographing it.

Thank you.

RE: Presbyterian Cemetery
Yes Linda, there is a Presbyterian Church on Green Street in Mifflinburg. The small cemetery is behind the church itself. It is very close to the much larger Mifflinburg Cemetery. Some people think the Presbyterian Cemetery is part of the Mifflinburg Cemetery, but it is not. If I get a chance this Spring I will try to take a picture of the cemetery itself and update the page. ~ L

If your question is "does he have a stone?" I would have to walk it (it's very small) but it is snow covered at present time. When the weather clears I'll check it. His listing I'm sure came off of the Hist. Soc. list. Only 49% are photographed. I'll look into it when the weather is better.

Yes there is a Presbyterian Cem in Mifflinburg on Green. The church and graveyard are also across Quarry Road from the oldest part of the Elias section of the Mifflinburg Cem. Elizabeth 82870797 is buried in the Pres. The picture shows that the plot is near the back row or rows, west of the church and the wooden structure behind the stone is the east side/back of the Buggy Museum Repository, which sits on the corner of Quarry and 4th.

Re: Diama Sargent
I think using Diama is the right thing to do. That was what she was called, after all. BTW, try Googling Deidama and Deidiama -- apparently people are still using this name, esp in South America!
