Find A Grave Instructions:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Second, Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

I would prefer to have it sent via email in PDF format. I am not sure if you have my email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Where in Utah, by the way

Thank you. I updated both of their memorials. How are you connected? My mother's mother was Hattie Winkless.

Hi Susan! Glad you liked the map but can't take credit for it. I got it from a gentleman at the cemetery who called me back after I left a message about family I had there. It was so good I had to share it. The number I found for Oakwood is 815-722-8803 but not sure if it's still in service though. Last time I had to call there was like 3 years ago. That cemetery is very old and no longer active. There is also no office. Last I heard the books were being kept at a local lawyer's office. I remember the guy who called me back said he was a volunteer but he knew a lot about the cemetery's history and was extremely helpful. Even offered to meet me out there if I couldn't find who I was looking for. Hopefully he's still around. If I can be of further help let me know. Warm Regards, Stacey

I recommend contacting the Geary County Historical Society, 1-785-238-1666. They are open in the afternoons Tues - Fri and have volunteers who will search for an obit.

Thanks so much. I love your work on Find-a-Grave! Your name came up in my recent conversation with our mutual cousin, Diann M. She and I have been traded many emails on Butler research over the past year.

Susan, please forgive me, I am not able to help, due to my health. Please inform findagrave that I authorize corrections to my data or just turn the site to you. God Bless. Brian
I asked for a transfer of Cyril O. Johnson
whose son is Sterling Price Johnson. I would like to share information on this man. He is also the father of Henry Cecil Johnson. I have a feeling that there were two Sterling Johnson's and one had a father Cyril and the Other Had a father Cecil. My email is email@example.com

You have done a great service in putting all of these names, pictures, and histories on Find A Grave.
You are a true genealogist.

Hi Susan, please email me direct at the address on my bio. Otherwise we'll be taking up lots of space here! I would like to know your connection as well.
As to Mary Belle's death date, I'm sure it was the 18th. The obit refers to "her death Tuesday" and the 18th was a Tuesday. I guess I need to rephrase my description, the hand written date on the clipping is not the date it was published.
Greenup: only have a handwritten notation of death as Newton, Arkansas. No source. Working off old notes my uncle had.
Jessee/Jesse: found spelled both ways. Same for Janes/Jaynes.
