Find A Grave Instructions:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Second, Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Don't worry about the duplicates. I''d rather have them than no listing at all. I think with these the original memorials had the last name misspelled as Lundgreen. I've been doing clean up with the original UT State Historical Society's listings in 2000. Most of the duplicates I've found have been a result of misspelling or women who have had multiple spouses and are buried with a headstone shared with their first spouse. It's a good thing I like treasure hunts.😀
Don't delete Netta's listing. I'd rather delete mine, because yours was more complete. I've already submitted mine for deletion. Since I was not the original creator of the the memorial, I have to have FindAGrave administrators delete it.

Don't delete your listing. I have stewardship of the other one from 2000 and have requested to have it deleted. I just wondered if you could add that additional info about her parents to the bio. I know their names, but not a specific memorial #.

I found news articles, but don't have your email. His Uncle is Charles B. Driscoll? And Bernard was an
electrician's mate, first class, U.S.N.R. in WW11? C.J.

Many thanks for posting the grave listing, with obituary, for Annie C. C. Smith Alston. In 1869, in New York City, "Annie Smith" wrote a letter, in the Deseret Alphabet, to Orson Pratt's daughter Larinda Marissa Ross Pratt in Salt Lake City. It survives in the LDS Church History Library, CR 244 415 (Box 5, Folder 10). In the letter, she writes about being born in India, and being in service (working as some kind of maid) before being called by Orson Pratt to transcribe the New Testament into the Deseret Alphabet. Until I found your listing, I despaired of ever finding any more information about this "Annie Smith." The Deseret Alphabet manuscript of the New Testament, never printed, also survives in the Church History Library.
If you, or anyone else, has more information about Annie C. C. Smith Alston, I would be most interested. Perhaps letters, a journal, anything written in the Deseret Alphabet?
All best wishes,

Paul McCulley Rayburn (#125949917) was born to William & Rocia Della Rayburn. He was married to Mary D. Rayburn, and they share a marker. The information on his memorial page is everything I have about him.

Hi: I'm not sure about the message to me, since I am not a researcher. However, I might refer you to my Personal Find A Grave Bio., particularly paragraphs 4-7, which clarifies my scope of updates requested by fellow Contributors. I will gladly transfer this memorial upon your request so you can pursue the subject in question. Have a good day.
