I've been interested in genealogy for many years. My great-grandmother and grandmother instilled in me not only a love of family but also a love of family history. Thanks to their research and great memories I got a wonderful start on researching my family roots. The internet has added to the fun and helped me to find out even more about my family roots.|
Some of the family names I am researching are Bishop, Moore, Scott, Keith, Davis, Brown, Baker, Clements, Yoho, Ray, Taylor, Ward, Belshe, Etter, Brazelton, Carper, Keech, Mitchell, Patterson, Lee, Stegner, Stagner, Rowland, Coleman, Harp, Tomlinson, Crawford, McClanahan, Wharton and McMullin.
Thank you in advance for visiting my dad.

I have uploaded an image of The Shark Crew that Earl was a member of. Would you be able to ask your contact of the Patterson family if they could identify him in the image? Thanks. Ted Dudziak

Your request for this grave marker is a bit of a problem. I've walked the yard a couple times and did not see this grave. Moreover, he is not listed in the Hale index of cemetery inscriptions. Also, this particular yard seems to date back to the 1800s but not to the 1700s...with a very few exceptions. Could he be interred elsewhere?
All the best,

|Rose Chandler Royals||You are welcome|
You are more than welcome. It was my pleasure. I miss going to the cemeteries. I can get a little pleasure by helping to flower.
I got to this memorial by a pretty circular route - some of my closest Willis/Poteet/Cates family are buried in the Wharton Cemetery in Worth Co, MO. I didn't think a lot about it until I was looking closely at a possible Willis ancestor in Lawrence Co, TN, & found Whartons on the same page, as well as Andersons (maybe pertinent, maybe not). So, I've been playing around with that & really gotten nowhere. If you know of a connection I'd love hearing from you...

Sorry it took me a while, but I finally got the changes made that you had requested back on March 14. I'll try to do quicker in the future. Just had a lot going on lately.

|Laura L Follett||Re:: Moses Sleeper|
I just found a birth record from New Hampshire showing his birthday is 22 Jan, not 02 Jan, as indicated on your memorial record. :)
|Laura L Follett||Moses Sleeper|
Can you verify for me where you got the information for Moses? There's another very similar record for a Moses Sleeper, born on 25 Feb 1685. Death is the same day as this Moses, but cemetery information is different although they were both in same area of New Hampshire.
I'm wondering if these two are actually the same man, but with some errors in information. I'm trying to verify which information might be correct. Your record was updated more recently than the other one.
Here's the link to the other record:

I wish that I could help you, but I can't connect mother to son. The man that has the memorial for Edmund has to link him to his mother.
