Bio

I've enjoyed genealogy since the early 70s when I would send out letters typed on a manual typewriter left over from college and enclosed a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope).
I've lived in Alaska since 1968. On trips "outside" I'd visit cemeteries where my ancestors were buried. I like to stand at the gravesite and look around at the surroundings knowing this is what my people saw when they said goodbye to a loved one.
I've been fortunate to inherit family photographs and have uploaded many of those to Find-a-Grave.
I am very willing to transfer any entries that aren't my own family. You are welcome to use any of the photographs of markers that I take in your own genealogy work.
Thank you for having such a site.
