Milford Cemetery old section was surveyed in 1943 and re-surveyed in 2001. There is a map and alphabetical index of all remaining tombstones. This grave is not on the map/index. Hi Autumn,
I know that Syrus & Clementine are relatives (saw your post on GraveFinder's page...I have two questions as we keep trying to make the Dixon data accurate:
(1) What is the correct spelling of their last name? They are currently shown as Benninghuff; however, a close look at the headstone suggests the spelling could be Benninchuff (a "c" instead of a "g"), and the cemetery records confuse things further as it shows them as "Benningchuff" (with both a "g" and a "c"). Do you know?
(2) Do you know Syrus' middle name? The cemetery records show Reubew, is that correct?

Autumn, I am not yet finished. I have gotten a copy of the 1896 "Burial Permit" for you for Elizabeth, as well as the 1898 "Certificate of Death" and "Funeral Notice" for Francis. Not sure if this is who you are looking for, but there is already a photo of Minerva Porter's headstone. Her name is Minerva Adaline Deuel Porter. Born March 3 1843. Died Feb 10 1873.
