Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love doing genealogy. The search for our ancestors and their stories have intrigued me beyond my own imagination. I love walking the old cemeteries and then, the search that comes with them. I hope I can help another person in their research.

Please, do not add death certificates to the memorials I have created. Sometimes, they can be hurtful to family members. Also, any pictures or information I have added, feel free to use them. It would be nice to have credit for them.

RE: James E. Ferguson/Minerva Roberts
Thanks Connie,

It looks good. Not too sure about Jackson Green Ferguson. I have never seen any proof about him being connected with this family. So, I guess leave him, maybe someone a lot older than me knew that he was connected.

Kindest regards,
Dorothy

P.S. Did anyone ever get the new photo made for Carrie Elna Ferguson Schuessler? I had it installed last year for her and Jesse there in Mason.

James E. Ferguson/Minerva Roberts
In your bio about James E. and Minerva, you say there is no information about their family. They had at least 3 children that I know of. You have them listed except one. Their children were: my grandfather Frank Dodd, Will (think he was born in Mar 1888 and the one they called Carry (a male was really named Oliver Kay Ferguson (per the 1900 Mason Co. Census was born in Dec 1889, although these children were living with James E.'s sister Alma Ferguson Posey and her husband listed them as borders. Meanwhile, James E. was on the 1900 census in Liberty county with his new wife Frances Duncan, her children plus their children Carrie Ferguson(female who lived in Mason and married Jess Schuessler) and Drucilla Ferguson. Oliver Kay died in Odessa Jan 17 1944, but so far, don't know where he is buried. His DC just lists him as "Kay Ferguson" Don't know if you can use any of this on the Find A Grave for James E. Ferguson or not. I will let you decide.
P.S. Some have said that James E. and Minerva also had a girl name Fannie, never found her grave either? They lived in Hamilton Co. for a while and are on the census there, not sure maybe the 1880?
Fondly, Dorothy Hays Newberry

RE: Edward Thomas Randle
Hi Connie,
I believe mine is correct. BUT I do have an older Edward Tom Randle in my files who was born about 1840 in Georgia. I have him as dying 06 September 1876 in Austin, so that is probably who the stone you mentioned is for. Edward Tom Randle born 1878 who my memorial is for was his nephew.

I can make the memorial for his uncle if you would like me to.

RE: Lewis Whitfield Carr
I can delete it, not sure why the other part is missing but the page is at max pictures, so I can't add the other part again. It will be a little bit before I can find the article again in my archives..
