Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Graves, Dawson, Terrell, Ga Aug 17 1937, and I have been "into" Genealogy over 37 years, and will continue as long as I am able.My lines migrated to Georgia and stayed here.
Each time I come upon a grave record in my genealogy,I stop and check to see if it is entered. Each time I pass or visit a cemetery,I take pictures and information and enter them if they are not on,in Hope all of you do the we all get a lot from this web site.
Gerry in Albany Georgia

Some of my lines are:
1st 6 generations
Aycock, Aven (2),Brown,Cannon, Causey, Gray,Hooks,McMichael,Raines,Roberts, Scarborough
next 6
Abercrombie, Armour,Broughton,Carter, Cheshire,
Fitzgerald,Greene, Hale,Hall,Hamilton, Harris(2) Jackson,Jenkins, Lamar,Mathis,Merritt, Morris, Pridgeon,Riley(2),Scarborough,Underwood, Wilson

My folks came through Greene Co Ga, for the most part, to Marion, Crawford, Harris,Taylor, Talbot,Putnam,Hancock, and other middle Ga counties to finally land in Terrell, Randolph,Mitchell..and other S Ga. RE: Leila Pritchett Speir
I went to Cedar Hill Cemetery this morning and located Joshua Henry Speir. His foot stone was beside Leila Pritchett Speir. His marker had not been recorded. I have added him to Find a Grave as well as a photo of his foot stone. Thank you for calling this to my attention. ESJ

RE: Your note
Yes, it's a bug in the Find A Grave system. Sometimes the nickname will somehow get into the maiden name field with quotes around it. You won't see it if you try to edit it, but if you just retype the nickname into the nickname field and save it, it will clear up the error.

RE: Thanks
There was no problem filling your photo request. If I am in a section looking for one a will pull all requests for that section. Sorry about the long wait and it seems that yours was in reserve until the empty slots became available. Glad to be of Help.

RE: Ambercrombie Family
I have added six more Cheshire memorials, this morning. Going to give it a break and will look at your other edits tomorrow. To note: There still could be other Cheshire Family buried at Rosemere.
