Cousins Fletch, Hi!. I would like to request the transfer of Zachariah W "Zach" Wimberley (1787 - 1850) in Find A Grave Memorial back to me for further work. When I originate the memorial I only had a limited amount of information. I'm now in contact with several of the Wimberley Cousins in North Carolina. I would like to update the memorial and work with our cousins in NC to make it a better more accurate memorial.

Fletcher, would you use the "bio" feature on Isaac's memorial page to eliminate the comment about William James Wimberley and about Jennings Bryant Wimberley. Hello Cousin, I am the granddaughter of John Wimberley, Isaac and Texana's child. I am wondering if you know how to contact Frank Wimberleys decendants? I grew up next door to his grandchildren and I would love to reconnect with them. Also, which one of Johns siblings are you decended from? My grandma was Lona Wootan are you from one of the wootan marriages? If so that would make you my double cousin!!!

My cousin William Burl Cochran is also a direct descendant and he is also a g grandson. His grandfather was Andrew Jackson Wimberley, and his mom was Amanda Letress Wimberley (she was my Aunt Letress)...
Would you like me to add the bio's and family links to Pleasant's Memorial. It would always have your name as the "originator" and I could maintain the memorial for our family. The Wimberley & Cochran family would like to request that you transfer your on-line memorial's of Amanda Jackson Wimberley # 5051861 and Pleasant Wimberley # 5051853 back to the direct family descendants for both of them.

| Links Between Memorials
Fletcher, I see that your memorials, in some cases, were set up as early as 2000. Today, as I am sure you know, when you set up a memorial, the "family link" feature is part of the initial memorial page. I guess back in 2000, findagrave didn't offer that feature. The only thing that I can suggest is that you take the memorial down and then put it back up again. As you can see, I have already linked one of their children Zillah, but I just set up her memorial. Therefore, it had the link feature to spouse and parents. But neither your Amanda Jackson Wimberley and Pleasant Wimberley memorials have family link, so I don't see how you could ever link to each other. That's also the problem with the Isaac Wimberley memorial. I can't link him to either parent since your memorial for Isaac doesn't have a family link feature. If you're thinking of transferring them to me (which is what I would really like for you to do), I have to warn you that I would have to take the memorials down and put them back up. Therefore, your name would no longer be on the memorials. I live in Wimberley and have been researching the family for about 2 years. Recently, I contacted about 55 descendants of Zachariah Taylor Wimberley (his house is being restored by the WIC). I am also in contact with over 50 descendants of Andrew Jackson Wimberley.
