I enjoy Find A Grave, a place where I can pay a virtual visit to the graves of my loved ones, many graves I have never seen. I am pleased to be a contributor so I can create memorials for my family as well as for other families. I am always happy to make changes to existing memorials. The reason I have so many more memorials managed than has been added is a cemetery has been transferred to my care. If you are related to any person whose memorial I manage and wish a transfer, in most cases it will be honored, if not my family. Please use the edit for suggested changes and transfers.

Prefer not to make transfers to contributors who will not transfer or who strictly uphold the relative guidelines. Who better to love and care for a memorial than a family member?

Also, I will not transfer to those who create memorials with only a name (no other data at all, no married name for females, and burial unknown), just to be "1st" or just to "add numbers." This is not fair to those who spend hours and hours of time doing research in order to create a meaningful memorial.

PLEASE-You are welcome to use a part of or all of a bio I place on a memorial. If you do tho, PLEASE give me credit with reference to Find A Grave. THANK YOU. (lt)

Thank you.

RE: David Taraba
Glade to do it. I go ever week so I'll keep checking, then I'll replace the one on the memorial. I just thought you would like to see the stone right now.

RE: Johnny Norton plot
You're very welcome, Louise, and I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm slowly working my way through all the records for that cemetery and adding info. I just noticed you submitted a photo request so I'll take care of him for you.

George McQuerry
"George's ship sank during a storm and I am not sure his body was recovered. Do you know if this is a cenotaph or his remains are actually buried here?"

I'm sorry I do not know. There is a lady at the Bank in Blythedale who has records for the cemetery. Her husband is the caretaker for Cedar Hill. Maybe one of them would know for sure.
