Bio and Links
Bio Photo We have been doing family Genealogy since the mid-1970's and have walked the ground and many cemeteries where our ancestors have been. Most of our ancestors were in Alabama, Georgia,Texas, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Kentucky. We now reside in California and do most research via the inter-net.

Jefferson Davis Wheeler
Hi Folks -- I have posted a picture that I took of the little grave marker which was left for Jefferson Wheeler at Riverside Memorial Park in Spokane, Washington. I am thinking this might be your family member as listed on Ancestry. Let me know if that is so at

John Tyler Russell 1841-1916
I have a copy of the death notice for John Tyler Russell in Vicksburg, MS on Nov. 5, 1917. I have chased this information for more than a year - only to discover that he died at my grandfather's house (his son).
John, I can send you a copy of the newspaper write-up if you send me your e-mail address. You may want to correct the Find A Grave for James Carson Russell to reflect this date for John Tyler and add to James Carson's children:
Martha A. (1843- ), William J. (1845- ),Matthew Cicero (1847-1916), Susan E. (1849- ), and Robert A (1851- )

RE: Arley Kinney Timmers
Arley Kinney is a second cousin to my husband. I would like to have the transfer to add to our family memorials. Thank you for the response.

Wheelers & Coles TN>TX
I don't know if I've asked you before, but have you found anything that would reveal a reason for the Wheelers, Coles and several George family members moving from Lincoln Co., Tn to northern Tx? It certainly wasn't a change in attitude about slavery since Eli Cole's will (Grayson Co., Tx.) shows that he left slaves to family members.
