I'm afraid I can't be of much help. The only connecting factor is that William and Salmon are buried in the same tiny cemetery, leading one to think that they are in some way related. That William is Salmon's son was taken from a family tree on Rootsweb, and that same tree did indicate that Philo was the son of that William and grandson of Salmon.
