Sarah McKillip Crow #84029150
I found her memorial stone today in 2 pieces. Top half in the middle of the cemetery...and the bottom half (including attached base) was located on the south side and appears to have made its way down the side of the burial mound. Probably due to erosion and groundhogs over the years. This would make her burial one or two graves from her father John McKillip. I will try to get them cleaned up and get better pic's next week! Willam R Brown
The reference was in your post to Genealogy Nut on June 20, 2013, of not being able to connect the father to the son. Ernest Brown was my grandfather.
His father William Richard Brown has been difficult to trace, as well as his mother Mary Emma Baird Brown, since she was "bound out" as a child. William was born in 1848 in Indiana. I believe my mother has his GAR record. He married Mary Emma Baird in Iowa, likely around 1870. They ended up in Logan county, Nebraska. I don't know if your line of Thomas and Mary Ball Brown might connect with my line.

If you think your line connects with ours, and would care to share more info, I would be happy to trade email addresses. I can shed light on why it is hard to connect the father to the son.

Thanks so much for your reply!

Hi. I see from your posts you have mentioned William R. Brown. I am his great granddaughter. Have been in touch with Genealogy Nut, and hope to be more. Was wondering if you are a relative?

RE: Sylvia McFadden
My 4th great grandfather was Timothy Livingston. Born 1779 in Billerica, Massachusetts and died in Amsterdam, NY. His daughter, Mary Ann, married Jonathan Gale Stearns. They both died in Amsterdam, NY. Their son, my gg grandfather, Charles Edward Stearns moved to Illinois. Some Livingstons moved there too and lived in Greenville, Bond, Illinois.
Any connection?
