Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very interested in Fort Bend County cemeteries and restoring and re-dedicating Concord Cemetery in Kenney, Tx. Family names include McNutt, Joerger, Sullivan, Caywood, Bush, Kennedy, Wood, Lennon, Walsh and Luhn. I work as hard as I can to preserve my family history for generations to come. I have others in my family who have traced our family roots for generations, now it is my turn to help.

A special thanks to my Aunt Gaye McNutt for the pictures of our relatives. Many people collected them, but she compiled them onto a CD for me!! :)

Many we love have passed away too soon...without reason.
We remember them often in a thousand different ways...In the morning...In the night...When we look at the stars...A date...A song...A place...A smell...

We live as long as we are remembered...Old Proverb

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Thank you for posting my sister Tena Delk's obit, and the kind words. Still to this day it's hard to believe she is gone, she is truly missed.

Concord Cemetery
Dear DeDe,
My husband has his 3rd gr grandparents who were supposedly buried there in Concord Cemetery. They could be 2 of the unnamed graves. They are James Redford, 1793-1878 and his wife Sarah (Sally) Shelburne 1801-1863. They were both born in Lunenburg, VA and died in Austin Co.,TX. Thank you. If you want me to enter them, I will.

Hello there! On memorial # 117586028 for James Richard Cammack you added a wonderful photo of the headstone. Because there are multiple people on the headstone, may I ask you to add that photo to Bobby Cammack, memorial # 127666555 and Ben Cammack Jr., memorial # 38107947? Thank you so much! Mary
