Bio
Born and reared in Port Arthur, Texas. Graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur in 1943. Served three years in WW2. Was in the US Coast Guard, Pacific Theater, aboard a Sub Chaser. Attended Lamar Jr. College, Beaumont, TX, Baylor Univ., Waco, TX, and Univ. of Nebraska at Omaha, Neb. Retired from the USAF as Major in 1969. Was a Tactical Intelligence officer. Following that retirement, went to Baylor Univ., Waco, Texas and served on the Administrative/Staff, retiring in 1986. Married for sixty two years to Virginia H.(Russell) Ming. Have two children, four grand children and five great grand children.
