All requests for transfers should be done through the EDIT tab, select the suggest a correction tab on the memorial, that you would like...and please do not forget to add YOUR Findagrave number. This is the method that I prefer because it is easier for me.
Transfer guidelines always apply. Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Thank you.

We often wonder if the new memorials we create make a difference. This one definitely did. I had lost track of my sister and hadn't heard from her since last Thanksgiving. I was browsing ancestry.com for some other family details when I ran across the FAG notice for my sister. It wasn't the news I wanted to see, but it answered my nagging question. Thanks so very much for creating the memorial, without which, I might still be wondering for years what ever happened to her.

|Hazelnuts & Bolts||Your Profile Photo|
Just a quick note to thank you for starting off my Monday with a laugh. Your profile photo is a scream! Love it.
|Sarah Sharpless||RE: Coke O'Neal|
If you want to put in that Wisdom O'Neal was the father of the actor Patrick O'Neal that might be interesting to some.
I don't think anything else in the note would be particularly interesting to anyone :) - I was trying to document the info so you'd have some proof - not just someone's say-so.
Thanks! And thanks for all that you do on FindAGrave. I just now looked at your contributor page for the first time and you have done a tremendous amount of work which has helped so many people. What a great job!

Just a note to say thank you very much for not only creating the Maryann Smidt memorial, but also for adding the important details, and, finally, for transferring the memorial to my management. It's all certainly greatly appreciated! Best regards, Dave Wilson

Check out the sad - yet interesting obituary I posted for Marth D. Taylor... contained a lot of information that may be very helpful to family members.
All the best, -Hal

It's ok Dave, you are right it rained all the way down there and poured during his service, I was surprised that so many showed up in that weather, there were even 5 from his hometown in PA that were there. After 48 plus years I'm not sure I will ever get over the loss. But he's at peace and in a better place, for that I am thankful.
|SLGMSD||RE: Elinore Glorius Duff Bailey|
There were two memorials for your Great-Aunt. When they were merged there was an error in the name fields.
I do not have any additional information about Elinore - it looks like the first name should be Elinore instead of Eleanora.
However, I can direct you to some sources where you might find newspaper articles about her.
From the Library of Congress which has District of Columbia newspapers:
Try your local library - can access with your library card number and pin. Log in, go to the database section and look for these databases. All have District of Columbia newspapers:
Also familysearch.org has added many District of Columbia records:
