|Edmund Burke said "People will not look forward to posterity, who never look back to their ancestors." I do believe that is true and have been dabbling in genealogy research on my husband's and my families for about 40 years plus I have a library science background. Between the two and the love of solving puzzles, I love research of any kind. When I found this site I was excited because it is easy to use, has a wealth of information on ancestral burials, plus it's free! I love this site and am on it every day searching or adding information. I will keep working and seeking more information to help our family trees along, plus help others as I can.|
Thanks for this wonderful website!

Removed photo. Will align future photos coming in near future so no need to remove. I can rotate those of mine that are not straight. Thanks, Ernie
Thanks for the transfer of Labon & Flora Sigman.

Lois - Thank you so much for allowing me to copy your headstone photos. You will be listed as the contributor. All photos on Find-A-Grave fall under copyright restrictions and unless it is stated by the contributors (in their profiles) they may be used, one can find themselves in a lot of hot water for using photos on Find-A-Grave without permission to do so. :) I allow any photos I post to be copied for family research purposes. I don't own my ancestors - I share them with ALL of their later descendants. Thanks again and thank you so much for your contributions to Find-A-Grave.

Wow thanks for getting to the edits so quickly. I really appreciate it!

It's located kind of behind the Cambridge airport on Cordtown Rd. It's an old church with the cemetery behind. I'm assuming you set up the memorials from records rather than the actual cemetery?
Thanks Lois for getting back to me so soon.

Do you allow your headstone photos to be used for family research purposes as far as copying them into family trees? I, would of course, note your name as the contributor.

Hi Lois, could you please contact me? I was over and took pictures of all the headstones at the church today and now that I'm trying to add them to the memorials I'm finding the correct names with dates that are different from what is on the marker. If it was just one or two I was thinking maybe it was possibly children but just about everyone that I have looked at has different dates. I'm guessing that you added the memorials from a record of some sort. I don't want to add duplicate memorials with the names and dates that the pictures show but I also don't want to send you a bazillion edits! lol Perhaps we can figure this out together.
Thanks so much!
