I have always taken an interest in history and genealogy which I inherited from my gr-grandfather Porter Matteson. I find this site helps me to help others find their loved ones, even if they can't actually visit the graves. I enjoy helping with this mission. My goal is to eventually have most of the tombstones in McLennan County, Texas online for everyone to see.
I am willing to do some research if needed in McLennan and Falls County.

I want to thank you for taking the picture of my great grandmothers grave Find A Grave Memorial# 80932460 Lela Mathews. Since then my grandmother in 2012 passed away and was buried very closely to her in Wilbarger Memorial vernon, TX also. We have been trying to get a photo of her grave also. If you come across it it is Billie Jean Roberts she died on 12/07/2012. Thank you!

| C.C. 'Bud' and Irene Meyer
Thank you so much for finding my beloved neighbors. Bud was Captain of B-29 Superfortresses over China and Burma. He was blown out of the air twice in a month in WWII, saving all crew except 1 man who died later of injuries. They were POWs in Rangoon, 2nd time down. Bud flew for Continental Airlines, eventually retiring.

Hi , I would like a picture of Mary E. Adams Tombstone if there is one . Mary Elizabeth Kirkman Adams was my Great Great Grandfathers Sister , She was married in Craven County North Carolina , moved to Florida and then to Limestone County Texas . I live in Craven County N.C. and will not get the chance to visit this Cemetery [Armour West]. I think Her Husband died in Florida and She never remarried .
