Sorry, but available records indicate she was the granddaughter of William McElree Birdwell and Martha Texanna (nee: Fuller) Birdwell. Her mother was their daughter, Martha Adeline that wed London K. Lloyd 18 Mar 1888 in Nacogdoches. See 1900 Census of Nacogdoches an 1910 Census of Harris County.

Please remove the Death Cert. from the fore mentioned memorial. I do not have faith in death cert. as I have found many with wrong info and I do not want them on any memorial that I have created or I maintain. Again Asking you to please remove it.

Thank you very much for the additional information on Julien Sidney Devereux Jr.'s burial place. I have added it to his bio.

Thank you for posting the photo of the gun salute by the 12th Texas Infantry. My husband attended this dedication and we didnt know a photo existed. It was great to see it. If I had known back then, that Rawlinson was one of my ancestors, I would have attended too. Rawlinsons wife was a cousin of my ancestor Madison Whitaker.

You have a photo of Jerry Lee Bowers at McKnight Cemetery, Nacogdoches County, TX.
Jerry's Memorial# 22805101 -- he's my distant cousin.
Would it be ok to use your photo on my Ancestry.com family tree? I will include (Find A Grave photo & permission by Danny Ray) for each photo I use.

|Judy Dykes||Louisa Jane Rawlinson Boyette|
Memorial# 22805105. This says she is buried in an unmarked grave in McKnight Cemetery. Do you know where this comes from? Are there records somewhere of who all is buried there? I also notice that Elzey's says unmarked also. just curious how you knew this. I have an early (1975 copy) of Carolyn Reeves Ericson's book Nacogdoches County Cemetery Records Vol III and neither of them are listed as buried there.
|Judy Dykes||Additional on Elzey Boyette|
Just discovered that Zeola Boyette is a granddaughter of Elzey Boyette and Louisa Jane Rawlinson, a child of their son, John, and listed in the 1900 and 1910 census of Nacogdoches Co, Texas as a daughter to John.
|Judy Dykes||Elzey Boyette memorial # 22805102|
I am a descendent of Elzey Boyette and Louisa Rawlinson Boyette. Elzey remarried to Sarah Bawcom March 18, 1880 ( Marriage Records of Nacogdoches Co, Texas 1824-1881, p. 115 by Murrie), so children born after this date cannot be children of Louisa. I also wonder about Mamie being his daughter. He would have been 87 at the time of her birth and though not impossible, not probable either. And his second wife would have been 64, not at all possible. I do know they had a daughter, Caroline but census has her birth at 1860 (which we know could be off) but 9 years is sort of a stretch. It's all a puzzle but do know that Louisa Rawlinson Boyette was not the mother of Zoela and Mamie. Let me know if I can help any more....
