|Lu Ann||Stier connection|
I am the great-great-great granddaughter of Amelia Ann Hilton and William Henry Stier (their daughter Ann married my great-great grandfather, Champion Harrison, both of them are also buried in Loudon Park). I met another one of Sarah Burgess Stier's descendants at her grave last year. Do you have any information on Amelia Ann Hilton? It would appear she was born in New Market, but I've searched everywhere (including the Historical Society, Hall of Records), and I cannot trace her beyond her marriage to William Henry in Frederick. I am fixated on finding out more about her. Thanks.

You are welcome. Found it while searching for an obit for someone else.
|Jay Brown||Thank you|
Hi there, I just came across you filling in a gap for me with the picture of Joseph L Patman I provided. Thank you for the info. I just found the pieces to his tombstone in our cemetery in Rome Ga. It is a very private and hidden gem that I am dedicated in restoring to keep my families memories alive. Joseph's was the worst off with John's being second. Joseph's was actually upside down and buried under ground covering. Someone has been vandalizing the cemetery and I now have neighbors watching it for me because I live in Florida.

Hi: "thank you! yes, I had a very busy morning and when I sent you the Edit, for his wife Mary (Bowne NOT Brown) one number was off. Her memorial #9489003 is correct. I am not related to them but I would value management of his memorial, if you like. I am very grateful for your help with these memorials."

Robert and Margaret,
I saw your message on Find a Grave:
"Sarah was the daughter of William Henry Jackson Stier and Amelia Ann Hilton. She was married to Charles Wesley Wilson on June 1, 1864. Charles was buried in Loudon Park Cemetery, (memorial #82486557)."
Charles and Sarah Wilson are my great great grandparents.
You mention in the above message that Charles Wilson is buried in Loudon Park. I have found his grave and the graves of some of his sons there. Do you know where Sarah (his wife) is buried? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Elizabeth ("Betty") Coffey (30) died after 1807. She married Thomas Fields, brother of Sally and son of Richard Fields and Elizabeth Murrell. Elizabeth and Thomas moved to Wilkes Co., N.C. Thomas was active in the Yadkin Baptist Church, holding the office of clerk and later that of deacon. His will in 1807 listed wife Betty and the following children: James Crumpton, William Fields, Reuben Fields, Betsy Penley, Winifred Humphrey, Polly Humphrey, and Sally Penley. Presumably the first "child" is a son-in-law, and all children were by Elizabeth Coffey. (R‑922)
Will of Thomas Fields probated in Wilkes co, NC on 10 Jan 1807 (Ruben as son).

Hello - I am a descendant for Anderson Coffee, son of Elijah, who married Cynthia Crow. I am looking for information on Cynthia ... do you know anything about her life prior to marrying Anderson in 1855?
|Ernest G Wade||W. W. Coffee|
William W. Coffey is not buried in the Confederate Cemetery at Oxford College, Oxford, Georgia but is buried in the Confederate Cemetery at Covington, Georgia which is about two miles south of Oxford. Both cemeteries are easily accessible and well maintained.
1st Corporal Coffey was a member of Company D, 26th Tennessee Infantry. He died in the Hill Hospital at Covington, Georgia on July 11, 1864
