Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family for 29+ years and with the exception of the family that is buried in Jacksonville, and some of my husband's family buried in Georgia & Alabama, I have had trouble finding the burial locations. This site has been the best there is. The most difficult have been the ones buried in New Orleans.

I am researching Baumgartner, Hepp, Wikoff, Tupper, Lafonta, Pottier, Marin, Tricou, Hinard, Reggio/de Reggio, Byrd, Barefield, Bell, Strickland, Lamb, Stanley, Grimes, Benson, Commander and many, many others.

My memorial is 100% correct! I verified my memorial by going to the cemetery!

Jan, when I get some extra time I will go up to the cemetery and verify that mine is 100% correct. It's just right up the street.

Opps!

I took this picture at St. Josephs Cemetery. I have no idea about Town and Country Cemetery.

You sent me a message asking about the memorial of Clifford Frank Havener wanting to know which one is correct. I took the picture of the tombstone at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery and added the information from the tombstone. I'm not sure where Town and Country Cemetery is or if someone added it to Find A Grave in error. I know Town and Country Funeral Home is located just outside of the original entrance to Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery which has been in existence for many years.

RE: Honore Pottier - SLC #3 photo
Based on the date of this photo, I am guessing on St. Philomine Aisle towards the front (between Penalver Ave and Dubourg which are the front 2 "streets" parallel to Esplanade Ave.)

If you call the cemetery office, they will be able to tell you exactly where it is and exactly who is buried in that tomb using his name. They do not give out that sort of info to non-relatives so I can't help there but they will help you in your search for your ancestors. They may need to do a little digging but they will get back to you with a list. 504-596-3050.

If I get a chance today, I will run over and see if I can find it and give you a better I idea of where it is.

Honore Pottier
I rec'd your edit and your note which I added to the notes section. If this is your family, I can transfer to you. You could call the cemetery and see who else is in that tomb. They won't give the info to non-relatives so all I have is his name along with what you added.

Robert Dauterive corrections
Thanks for the corrections for Robert Dauterive. I cannot put his whole obit up as it has living relatives listed. I am not related. Are you related? If so, I can transfer this over to you.

Also, I see you are looking for the GRIMES family. My g.g.grandparents were Grimes. James Grimes (abt 1829 Ireland to NOLA) m to Julia Burke (1843-1918) Dublin to NOLA. Any connection there? They lived in Algiers.
