Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

|D. East||Mary S Greiner|
She is Mary Sasser, sister of my GGF, Cardell Sasser. Cardell married Laura Elizabeth Greiner, my GGM, cousin to Mary's husband. So actually, I'm related to both Mary and John.

|Rose Barrett||RE:ANNELLE KIGHT CHANCE|
I was just checking on all the names in my family, and saw my Aunt Annelle's memorial. I am trying to link all my family members together on my ancestry site.
I noticed that in Annelle's obituary they forgot to include her sister, Rosa Lee Kight Chessher, who was born in 1937. (Rosa Lee is my mother.) Rosa Lee was born on March 28, 1938. They are on the 1940 census records as siblings, I am trying to link all of my family members together on ancestry and family search.
Could you please transfer her memorial to me?
I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Dear Diana B., Thank you for placing this information on Find A Grave. I had their marriage date but not a copy of the certificate.
These are my great grandparents. However, who ever wrote out their marriage certificate set the stage for mistakes in their names.
The groom's name is Luther Irvin Dozier. He was born 7 November 1872 (Burke County?, GA). Luther Irvin died 1905 and buried at the Ganus Family Cemetery, Burke County, Georgia.
His parents: John and Lucinda Greenway Dozier.
24 April 1897, Luther married Harriett C. (Hattie) Ganus. She was born 2 October 1877, Burke Co., GA
Hattie died 22 September 1950. She is buried at the Keysville Methodist Church Cemetery, Burke County, Georgia as: Mrs. R.H. Dozier.
Her parents:Jasper and Mary A. Shirley Ganus
29 December 1910 The widow, Hattie Dozier married the widower, Robert Henry Dozier.
I have a family picture of Luther Irvin Dozier. I have a photo of his headstone but I received it, with permission, from someone of Ancestry.com.I would be happy to share for this web site.
Thank you, Cathrine

Yes, I now understand more.
I would like to correspond with you privately.
I have been researching this family for 20 years now and am one of the "friendlys"
I spent a day at the Burke County Library, however, was not long enough to "dig in" to find more than I already have uncovered.
I hope to hear from you directly. You have my email and my cell phone.

I am intrigued to see your research on Anne Walker Kimball/Kimbrel. I am a descendant of Charles and Anne and have been researching many years on this family. Would you please mind sharing how you came upon the connection to her father. This could be a major breakthrough and one that no one else has yet discovered. Are you also related? My cousin Ralph Kimbrel has suggested you found this through church records. I am anxious to hear
