 | Isabelle Eileen Gochenour Willis Hello, I just noticed that you have used the photo from my memorial to duplicate it. I would have been happy to transfer to you if you had asked. Please delete the duplicate. Rickey Bellamy | | | Severian
 | RE: Zenna Howell Jones Hmmm... Are we related?
This stuff is fun! Maddening, but fun. :-)
OK, Zenna's kids and Loula's kids were first cousins. That makes the kids related to both of us. Sooo.... Yeah, I'm sure if we had the whole tree on both sides we would find out we're some kind of distant cousins.
Just on this branch of the family (descendants of Calvin Edgerton and Hannah Overman), I'm up to 4th(!) cousins, along with 2nd cousins, twice removed, 3rd cousins, once removed, etc., etc.
So hi, cousin! :-)
Oh, try this: http://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Thomas-Family-Tree-7355 I'm not sure you'll be able to see it, though. Wikitree has a fairly complex system of privacy protections and the tree may not be available to the public. It's the pedigree of Loula's husband, Winford Thomas, as far as I have it. I'm hoping, since he was born in 1890, that there won't be a privacy issue.Added by Severian on Jan 09, 2013 4:49 PM | | | Severian
 | Zenna Howell Jones Hi Joyce,
I was wondering if you'd ever seen that your g-aunt Zenna was listed as Jennie (age 2) on the 1900 census (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MM14-33Q). Wonder if she was actually called that as a child, or if it's just another typical census taker's blunder (there are SO many!).
Like you, my connection to this Howell family is by marriage (Zenna's sister Loula married Winford Thomas, a distant cousin of mine), so I won't be researching all the siblings anytime soon. Just thought I'd mention the name mystery with Zenna that I stumbled across.

 | Thanks! Hi Joyce,
Just wanted to thank you for how comprehensive your info is on the page for Edward H Howell. It's always great to see so much info on these memorial pages.
Edward is actually unrelated to me, but his daughter Loula married a distant cousin of mine and I always try to find at least the parents of these relatives by marriage.
I have also found Loula's memorial page and have asked the page manager to link her to her parents. So hopefully there will soon be three of their children linked to Edward and Ellen (Louisa). They had at least eight (1900 census: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MM14-3ST).
Thanks again.

 | Gochenour memorials Hello, I am curious as to the reason you have duplicated the Gochenour memorials in Mt Hope cemetery? Are you related? If so I would have transferred them to you.
