Paula Noisworthy Haas
Miller/Childers family
I am Paula Noisworthy Haas and my Childers/Miller family is buried at Hargis in addition to their siblings and children.
In 2008, I took the pictures that are now on the site (thank you for doing that) and finally persuaded the Shawnee National Forest to clean a path to the cemetery or otherwise it would be lost to future generations.
In 2010, they gathered a group of volunteers as well as my family and we spent the day cleaning the cemetery. Lost graves were found and I gave a historian as much history as I knew.
Has anyone been up there since then? I had a massive brain injury and am now able to go there again. The forest service needs to be contacted but the people that were in charge have moved on.
I would love to see the cemetery taken care of but the forest service had to be persuaded to do this the last time.
I hope to hear from you!
Paula

"Hiram" Saxton
I am researching the names signed in my grandfather's retirement guest book. There appears to be a "Hiram" Saxton (how it was signed) and followed by "Retired SE"...which would have been Sugar End foreman.

My grandfather worked at the Eaton Great Western Sugar Factory and retired after 42 years. He knew many of the workers and most who signed his book in 1954 are deceased and are in the surrounding cemeteries (mainly Eaton).

The only Saxton I can figure would probably be York Elnathan Saxton born 1888 and lived to the age of 104 (d 1993).

Do you have any clues or are you related to this family in Eaton?

We know the factories were closing and a few of the men were moved from other areas to the factories that were still working at that time.

My mother had this book and wanted to find these signers/friends of her dad. She died this summer and I would like to continue, then donate the book to the Loveland Museum, where a lot of the GW items are on display. We would like to have the list of who the men were to add to the donation.

Thanks!

A.C. Williams/ Hebron Cemetery
Have been assisting someone in trying to find the burial location for Alford/Albert C. Williams and believe the A.C. Williams you listed in Hebron Cemetery is the correct one. However, a relative contacted someone who has records for Hebron Cemetery and said he is NOT buried there. Need to know the source of information.
