Cobourg does have a registry of burials but you have to go to the office to see them. Another site is Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid and they are online free. I checked your other ancestors names and they are indeed buried at the Cobourg Union Cemetery. I may already have the pictures but I have yet to go through them. This is a large cemetery and I still have more pictures to take when time permits.

Julie, With some work and much luck I was able to locate the findagrave sites for both of the parents of my great grandmother, Sarah Ann Althoff Simms 58506133. I recently asked Boni Pearl to transfer management of John Wesley Simms, Sarah's husband, to me and she did. She suggested that I write to you and ask that you transfer Sara's site to me also. I would be very pleased if you would do that. My findagrave No. is 48101015. So far I have only created or managed sites for ancestors of mine and at this time that is all that I will probably do. Thanks, Richard Frey

Hi Julie. I've been tracing this line on Find A Grave and working familysearch at the same time. It appears the children need work. You might want to check it out. Thanks, Karen
|Dennis Marz||Fred Marz Headstone|
My name is Dennis Marz and Fred Marz is my Great Great Grandfather. On 9/11/2010 you entered a photo of a Headstone of Fred Marz in Valley Brook Cemetery. Can you tell me where it came from? As far as my Family knows Fred and Minna Marz were both buried in the Marz/Fletcher Plot and the headstones were only engraved with "Father", "Mother". Also, the Headstone in the Photo is new and not weather as it should be since Fred did die in 1896 and Minna in 1908. Can you help me out with any information on the reason for this new Headstone? Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi Julie, I know we've talked before. I think you might remember when I mistook your mother for someone already deceased, your mother still very much alive, teaching me a very necessary lesson. In the SSDI, even when the names match, same birth date, same state, etc., does not necessarily mean it's the person you may think it is! I use that embarrassing situation when teaching Family History classes, along with other things that can happen!!! What a life. I'd love to discuss temple work. Your Cousin Karen, in warm Toquerville, Utah.
