Bio and Links
Bio Photo My motto;
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a glass of Merlot in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Hello everyone.
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, and lived there from 1947 to 1983. Since that time I've lived in; Arizona, Oregon, Washington (east & west), Montana and now we are in Pennsylvania.

During my travels I developed a love for old grave stones and epitaphs. I began making grave stone rubbings of famous graves in 1999. This is a very good way to see more detail on some of the very old stones, and they make a beautiful family heirloom. I highly recommend doing this.

I developed and run a huge recipe site. It's called Our Family & Friends Favorite Recipes, and a link to it is on this page. If you love to cook, come over for a visit.

I was a professional photographer, and part time photo judge for San Diego's Photo's in the Park. I use a digital most of the time now, and what I can't control with that format, I correct using Paint Shop Pro software. One of my favorite past times is creating memorial pictures for the families of the 'recently passed'. I am also a retired nurse, and artist.

After discovering Find A Grave, I'm very excited about being a volunteer photographer here in Pennsylvania.

Photo of Johnnie Sliger
Hi, I wanted to let you know the alleged photo of Johnnie Sliger (my ggg-grandfather) is not a photo of him. Johnnie was born in 1804, and by the time this photo was taken (according the style of men's fashion and photo technique), Johnnie would have been an old man. This photo is probably of a grandson named John Sliger was probably taken around the turn of the last century. If you could remove this photo, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks for all your work on Find-A-Grave!

Joseph H Marlow info
I contacted the Cemetery Dept and got the location of the grave. I visited there and found no marker for Joseph, but have a photo for a monument with the names Nelson 1853 - 1924 and Malvina D his wife 1857 - 1931. There is no other markings on the monument. The monument is the only marker.

From what I got from the cemetery dept. Narcisse Marlow is buried in grave 1, Malvina Marlow (and writing follows) '-from stone 1931' in grave 2, Rose (Marlow) Dennis Derosier in grave 3, and Joseph H Marlow in grave 4.

Marlow is written across the top of the monument.

This is located at Sect A sm Lot #729.

I am unsure if this Joseph Marlow is the person you are looking for. You have Malvina as being buried in Eastlawn which is in another town and is 8 miles away with different dates.
