Bio and Links
Bio Photo We find cemeteries fun. I learn so much from the people that I am able to meet while wandering around the quiet space.

In tracing my genealogy I have come to the realization that in the future it will be harder to trace with cemeteries since so many are being cremated and place on the family shelf. Lineage and legacy are important to me. I feel like I am the voice for those that can no longer speak.

I have lost 2 sisters and all my grandparents. Find a Grave gives me a space to honor them.

*** I am requesting quite a few of my family members for management. Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to post these accounts and thank you for the transfers. It means a lot to my family. ***

** If I miss getting around to thanking you for the transfer of my relatives then please let me take the time to tell you now, Thank You. **

Samuel Genet Bradshaw
Are you related to S. G Bradshaw. I would like to talk to you about his family. If you are not and want to release mgmt of the memorial, I would like to have this one. S G was the son of Louis M. Bradshaw. Louis's daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bradshaw Westdyke is my greatgrandmother.

Margaret Mitchan Steele
My name is Margaret Mitchan Steele. Your grandmother Vlasta was my aunt. My father was Robert Mitchan he is the ninth Child of August and Aloisie. I ran across the "Find a Grave" site and recognized the name Strathman. Would your father be Leonard or Dennis? I don't know if your father remembers me. We took a few road trips when I was younger and drove down to Corpus. We lived in Baytown. For the past 43 years I have lived in Fort Worth.
Feel free to contact me. Every year on the last Sunday in April, we have a family reunion with the descendants of August and Aloisie. It's always at the KJZT Hall in Dubina. Of course all of their children have passed away. We usually have a small turnout but it's always nice to see the cousins.

RE: Bobby McPeak
Thanks for the extra help. I talked to him just recently and asked him if he remembered you. He said the name sounded familiar but he couldn't place you. I brought up a few things that might would make his mind think. He said he thought he remembered this or that, but still kind of forgetful. Maybe this information might rattle his mind, ha.
I will let him know this info too.

Bobby McPeak
I just spoke to Bobby. He thinks he might remember you. He thinks he might remember you. He said he knew a Snow in Melissa and one in Dallas. I didn't know which one you were. But I told him about Rolators Grocery. He seemed to remember you or kind of remember you. Told me to tell you hi.

RE: Bobby McPeak
I sure will. Never know when he is busy. Or I could have a friend to have him to call me. Got your name now so shouldn't be a problem.

RE: Bobby McPeak
I just spoke with Bobby. He can remember so much for his age. And he is still working. That's amazing! I forgot your whole name too ask if he remember you. We will talk again.

RE: McPeaks
I was going to ask, are you related to the McPeaks?
I don't know near enough about them as I would like to. Wish I had listened to my grandmother and great grandmother back then. I was about 9 or 10 when my great grandmother passed, but I was so blessed to have had her around me. She always came over and seemed to want to be around me. She had lived in Amarillo at the time, so she got to come very little. My grandmother, her daughter, lived next door, so I saw her fairly often.

RE: McPeaks
Yes. He was my grandmother's nephew. I haven't talked with him in a while. His son works at Raytheon.

New Mountain Cemetery
Thanks so much! I submitted the correction to Find a Grave. They are usually way behind so it may not get fixed anytime soon, but we can hope:)
