My kids think going to cemeteries is what everyone does on vacation. I am a native Pennsylvanian, but have lived in Georgia for over 28 years, minus three years overseas.|
Many of the memorials I have created are NOT my family members, but after photographing, researching, and posting, they do begin to feel like family. I have no ancestors locally. Therefore, I have had to depend upon the kindness of volunteers living elsewhere to create memorials or take photos for me. In return, I try to take as many photos as I can locally to post to non-family memorials, hoping to "pay it forward." If I have taken a photograph you would like to use for your personal, private, off-line use, let me know, and I'd be happy to send you one of a larger resolution.
I will *consider* out of guideline transfers of your relatives (who are not also mine) if you are an established, regular contributor to Find a Grave who demonstrates an understanding of the FAQs and purpose of the site. (Don't mean for that to sound judgmental. I am just hoping to avoid potential problems.) Please use the SAC function (edit button) to request transfers, and be sure to let me know specifically how you are related. If you are brand new here, welcome! Folks come and go often, and I like to make sure you're going to stick around and contribute regularly before I transfer. You may want to read the "help with Find a Grave" section to understand the purpose of the site. In addition, folks merely interested in genealogy might well be happier having someone more active to manage the memorials, and use other more-suited sites to build trees. That "virtual cemetery" feature is also useful in sorting out the branches of your tree. In the meantime, please feel free to send me as much additional info as you wish via the edit button on the memorial.

Please do whichever you think prudent, Amelia Catherine "Melly" Booth Pate is a paternal 3rd great grand aunt of mine from present-day Barrow County (then part of Jackson County), and the wife of Jessie Ammons Pate.
Take care and God Bless,

I just wanted to let you know that I've added all the information that you sent me in the email for this person. I wasn't sure what to put in and what to leave out. So... if there is anything you want changed please let me know.

No, I don't think these are the same person.
William Flournoy Nunn was part of my dad's family.
Have never seen the name Munn.
The death dates don't match either, why would you think them the same?
Yes, I do agree, the names should match the marker. There appears to be no reason for you to delete your memorial as it is clearly another person.

I see that you are not necessarily related to the people whose memorials you post, but I am very interested in knowing more about Jeanette and her family, as my g2grandfather Conrad Miller was supposedly her nephew, and was living with Jeanette and her husband in 1850, when he was a teenager. I've searched familysearch and ancestry, based on the parents and other information contained in the memorial and not getting anywhere. I would love more information about where/how you got the information contained in the memorial so that I can track down Conrad's parents. Thank you so much for posting this memorial. It really contains a gold mine of information.
Please contact me for more information on my uncle, 2Lt Charles J. Juhan
