RE: Cameron Cemetery Great to get a little history. My son lives on the old Marsh place. I bought 10 acres there in the 90's. I worked for the post office for many years so know most of the older roads and area. I try to do Find a Grave work at Pinecrest because I like a challenge. I think the size of it intimidates some. I had a really good working relationship with the staff, but they are short-handed right now and have been really busy. I see you are a night owl as I am since I have retired. Maybe our physical paths will cross since we move in the same circles.. Best of wishes and God's blessings.
PS We recently cleaned the Snow Cemetery off Severns Landing. Plan to mow it this week.
RE: Cameron Cemetery Thanks Deb. Are you connected with Finch Corner on Hilldale? One of my sons lives near there now. We lived off Hilldale when we first married but live on the old homeplace now on Sprindale Rd.
sikes HI! I found your postings while looking for a burial in Saline Co. AR in 1880. I see you have posted several Sikes but do not know how (or if) they are connected to my Sikes families. The person I am looking for is Mary Jane Sikes (Sykes), b. 1868 in TN, daughter of Joseph Sykes and Mary Clementine Acree(Acrey). The family lived in Union township, ED 167, Saline Co. at the time of the census & Mary Jane was 12 years old then. My husband's grandfather is her brother. The family moved to Van Zandt Co. Texas from AR. If you would like to correspond with me, my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mary Walker Warwick There was only one wrong child on there and I requested that it be removed from her memorial, as you can only remove parents from your own memorials. I had "prematurely" added some of Mary Walker's children, that may be the confusion. Thanks for transferring the memorial.
RE: Ora Tucker I might be able to get one. I talked to one of her sons and her daughter a couple of weeks ago. They were both interested in what I was doing. I'm still trying to find an obituary for her husband, John Frank McCoskey. I may have to order it from the public library in Pine Bluff. Mr. & Mrs. McCoskey were dear, wonderful neighbors to my family.
