Let people who request have their own families for Pete's sake
When people request that you turn their family over to them you should be willing to do that. If not they will just do as I did and create a new one . I'm positive that you are very misinformed due to the fact you have the cemetery in lee county, va named as pleasant view. It in fact is our family cemetery and is named flag pond cemetery as listing in the obituaries.

Arszman Memorials
I would really like a response from you concerning my PARENTS memorials.

I would really like to be the manager of my parents memorials.

Could you respond and let me know if that is possible and if not why?

Patiently waiting.

My Parents
First thank you for updating my parents memorials with the information I provided you.

I am a serious genealogist and have written and published a book on the family "The Arszman Family History back to 1500" published in 2008 (two volumes). Since finding FIND A GRAVE web site, I have been trying to update all my family with accurate information and taking new information I have received and updating my files for a revision of my books.

The purpose of my communication is to request that I be allowed to manage my Father and Mother's memorial.

RE: Two different men from Vietnam
Robel,

I know it's hard to believe, they are the same person. The photo I posted is from his official Marine Corps boot camp yearbook in San Diego. The color one in helmet you have was taken a couple of months later in advance training at Camp Pendleton. The stress and vigorous environment of Marine boot camp left many of us looking leaner as James. The following stage was relaxed a little and we gain some weight back. I hope this explanation to why they look different is to your satisfaction.

Best regards,

Sel

RE: Meeting
That would be wonderful except that I no longer live in Dayton. I'm afraid you'd have to come to Alaska. Interested in an extended vacation? Ha, Ha! Did you just happen to come upon this headstone and decide to look Tim up, or do you have a genealogical interest in the Rose Family? We've got deep roots in the deep south, Tennessee, and Ohio.

RE: Timothy Lee Rose from Dayton OH
It's not what you might say to me that I'm having a problem with. My difficulty is not being able to talk to you privately so that I can tell you about how he really died. It was not in a car accident. I don't know where you uncovered this, but I would like to discuss your sources.
Your insistence that USMC would not allow him to go so far from base is also puzzling. As a veteran myself, I know about looking forward to that first leave after boot camp. He came home on leave and was on his way to his next training station, not Vietnam, when things went terribly wrong.
You said on the memorial site that you wanted to know the truth about this young man, but the truth is not something I'm willing to share on a public site. At the very least, I'm hoping with more information you will change the memorial so that it presents a less negative impression of him to those that read it.
Perhaps you could open a free email that we could use for this only. Then, close it out when we are finished. That way your privacy wouldn't be compromised.

RE: Timothy Lee Rose from Dayton OH
I'm not suggesting he was in Vietnam. I am saying he was in the Marines and went to boot camp in San Diego.

Is there some way you can contact me with a private email without our having to discuss sensitive details on a public site?

You may have some sources that I could benefit from. Since he's my brother, I definitely have some information that might clarify some of the confusion about his death and service.
