Bio

Bob Bradshaw. Doing research on VA, NC, GA, and Randolph Co. AL BRADSHAW and GAMBLE. Also GA, AL, and Hardeman Co. TX GRIFFIN and PA, KY, MO, and TX RICKS. Also NC and Randolph Co. AL BEVERLY and GA and Randolph Co. AL KIRBY. Inquiries and exchange of documented information welcomed.
I and others ran into a dead end in research on my g-g-grandfather, Andrew Bonapart Griffin, who was orphaned at an early age --some say taken in by a Rev. Motley (sp?). He was b. 23 Nov 1800 in Sandersville, Washington Co., GA, married Susannah Tate Fortson of Elbert Co., GA, and was later an Ala State Senator. He died 11 Nov 1895 in Opelika, Lee Co., AL. Any help with his parents or ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
I was born in Roanoke AL, grew up in Denver CO, returned to Roanoke at the start of the 10th grade, went to Auburn Univ, and was then a career Air Force pilot. My wife, Betty, and I are retired in wonderful Auburn, Lee County, Alabama. WAR EAGLE!
