Grimes Resident Dies in Shattuck
Hospital Sunday After Pro-
Last rites for E. C. Bartz, longtime resident of the Grimes community who succumbed Sunday morning in a Shattuck hospital following a prolonged illness, were held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Sunny Point church. Rev. J. W. Trevette, pastor of the First Methodist church here, officiated.
Mr. Bartz succumbed at 6:30 Sunday morning after an illness of several weeks. He was 57 years of age, and had been a resident of the Grimes community since 1910, coming to this section from Nebraska.
Survivors include: his widow, and six children, Harvey Bartz, Grimes, Lester Bartz, Sayre; Floyd Bartz, Sweetwater; Florence Bartz, Sweetwater; Mrs. Clara Clawson, Los Angeles; and Orville Bartz, Bakersvile,(sic) Calif.; and one step-son, Clarence Williams.
Interment was made at the Mulberry cemetery with the Littrell-Johnson Funeral home in charge.

You have noted that A.E. Goodwin was born on 8/20/1964 and died 2/6/1906. Were the dates tramsposed or was the birth year to be 1864? This man may have been my great, great uncle.
Could you do a picture of the grave?
