Bio and Links
Bio Photo One of the best features of Find A Grave is that it provides a forum where years of genealogical research can be shared with others. Please let me know if you have additional biographical or statistical information for any of my memorials, as it is always welcome. The wealth of knowledge that others have sent to me through Find A Grave is astounding.

If you are aware of links for parents and/or spouses that I have not yet added, I would appreciate it if you would use the edit tab to leave the name and Find A Grave number of the person or people who should be linked.

Thanks to all those who have generously shared your family stories and beautiful photos with me. I sincerely appreciate being allowed to add them to the memorials for your loved ones. The pictures and studio portraits that for years have been carefully preserved in family photo albums, add such a wonderful dimension to Find A Grave. They help create a memorial tribute that is all the more special and meaningful.

Transfers will be considered only if they comply strictly with Find A Grave guidelines. You must state your exact relationship to the deceased. Bulk surname transfers will not be made.

I have put a lot of time and effort into Find A Grave. I strive to make sure that the information on my memorials is as accurate as possible, but I am realistic and know that mistakes do happen. Please use the edit tab to leave a message regarding any errors or omissions that need to be corrected.

By working together, we can continue to build Find A Grave into a better and better site!

Note: 30 Sep 2013 marked a very sad day for all Find A Grave contributors when the founder of this website sold us out to

RE: Enoch Jordan
Hi Lynn, I forgot to mention one more piece of evidence from the 1910, Hulen, Comanche County, Oklahoma, federal census. Enoch is actually listed by his father's name, William B Jordan {Should be Enoch}. I wonder if the census taker knew William as Enoch's father and just made an error. Anyway, he is listed as being born in Missouri, 1883. Also listed:

Lulu Jordan 24 (wife)
Elmer L Jordan 3 (son) (buried in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma, where his Grandparents William and Sarah are buried)
John E Jordan 2 (son)

In 1910, William B. Jordan (widowed) was living with his daughter Lydia Skillman, in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma.

I am pretty confident that the Enoch and Lula Jordan buried at the Fee Fee Cemetery, in Bridgeton, are my relatives.

RE: Enoch Jordan
Oh my. There is sure a conflict Lynn and I apologize.

Apart from family 'tradition,'that my cousin Enoch died around the St. Louis area, this is what I have:

The 1900 Park, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, federal census of William B. and Sara E. Jordan, listed my cousin, their son, Enoch Jordan, 16-years old at the time, as being born in Missouri, March 1884 (or thereabouts).

In 1918, Enoch's WW#1 registration card shows him living in Stephens County, Oklahoma, which is the next county over just a bit south-east of Commanche County where he was raised. His wife is listed as Lula Jordan.

All of Enoch and Lula's children are listed in the census' as being born in Oklahoma, and at least one son of theirs, Dolph Dean, died in the St. Louis area.

I will delete William B. Jordan and Sarah Ellen Anderson as I continue my investigation.

Thank you Lynn and God bless you!

Agness (SCHENCK) CAMPBELL in Scenic Hill Cemetery, Grafton IL

I recently came across some detailed info that I'm trying to verify. It says my gr-gr-gr-grandmother is buried at Scenic Hill Cemetery in Grafton, Jersey county, Illinois.

I entered the info - but would like to check it against cemetery records if at all possible. Perhaps there are some local newspapers that might have an obituary - but I haven't found them online.

Anyway - here's a link to the memorial I created. I'm hoping that it is correct.

Salem Cemetery in Black Jack MO
I notice that you've done quite a bit of work in the Salem Cemetery in Black Jack, MO. Do you know of any online index/database for that cemetery? If not, would you be willing to do about six lookups for me?

Thank you,

I borrowed a book from my dad called the "Marriages of Calhoun County 1825-1982" - you may already have it, but if not and you need any look-ups please let me know.
