I got started about 5 years ago searching for my father's birth family. I have discovered what a wonderful place this website is! I enjoy doing the research, and now have found that I really enjoy visiting the cemeteries and looking for requests to photograph, and then photo others to make memorials for them. I'm glad that I can help others be closer to their loved ones.|

I forgot one thing. I will delete the picture off of Neil's page after you get to see it. Hopefully I won't forget?

I got pics per your request for Neil McFarland and his parent's graves in Lincoln Memorial Park cemetery.
I put a before and after pic of Neil's gravestone on his page. Which do you think looks better? :-] I don't like taking "as is" pictures like most people on Find A Grave do. I like to clean them up and make them look decent. Neil's stone was the worst of the lot of them buried there. They all had that creepy black crud growing on them. Anna's stone was next to worst. The junk on her stone was on there like super glue and did not want to come off. It came off pretty easy on Neil's stone but not Anna's. I got so tired out that I did not get all of it off of her gravestone. I may go back sometime and put some more grease on it, you know "elbow grease". Do a bit more scrubbing and get the rest of it off and add a better pic to her page, ok?
If I added too may pics and/or you want any removed just let me know and I can do that.
You did not ask for pics of Myron and Nina's graves. Somebody had put a single pic on each page of their gravestones which were not very good pictures so I added better ones. The trick to getting better pictures is to spray water on the letters of the gravestone. It makes the letters look darker and makes them stand out a whole lot better so you can actually see and read them. Otherwise the letters and numbers on the stone just kind of blend right into the rest of the color of the gravestone and makes it really hard to see them.
Also, I added picture captions to some, but not all of the pictures if you care to click on the pictures to see them.
Could you link Matherson and Elizabeth it will not let me.

No Problem Melissa. I didn't know until I was trying to have the tombstone attached to her memorial. So far we are having a slight problem but I think the man who took the picture can get it done.

I set up a memorial#15553874 for Mae Addie in 2006. Would you please remove your memorial as I am in contact with Michael DeLost and he is going to add his photo to her memorial.

I meant to say photos from my relatives gravesites. Sorry if leaving these words out led to any confusion. Becky
