Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born in Pasadena, Ca., raised in the San Gabriel Valley East of Los Angeles. Moved to Portland, Oregon in 1989. Have been here since and love it! Veteran of Vietnam, Infantry with the 101st Airborne. My Father was a medic in WWII and I have relatives that were in the Civil War. It seems that every time someone throws a war my family gets invited!

I have been enjoying genealogy for thirty years. It wasn't untill the internet, that the doors swung wide open! I mostly enjoy the pioneer cemeteries, for the history.

I am more than happy to turn over any of my memorial pages to a family member that is yours. Please help me with any corrections on the entries that I have made. If you have anything that you want added to the memorial pages I created please let me know.

Bill

I have attached a photo of his death certificate which shows the correct day and month of his death.
I know the year is wrong on the death date. I was told I would have to take a copy of DC to Portland to Vital Records and request a change, they would check it out and then one of the vital records personnel would drive down to Salem to the archives and make the correction in person. I was told that if I or one of the archive personnel had made the change on there DC they or I would be charged with vandalism and ticketed and then go to court and explain why it was done.

It's a shame to lose all the good stuff that I collected about yhim and his family who are buried in Pilot Butte Cem. in Bend. You are welcome to have what I have to add to his memorial and then I will delete it.

Lived up there on the "hill" for 30+ years until retirement some 12+ years ago. always used to walk Leander to the cemetery. these were my favorite sites. Thank you for the info on them. Go back every year to see "them". Lots of changes on the "hill" but time marches on. You've done a good job.
