Bio and Links
Bio Photo There is a great span of differing religious/ philosophical beliefs - - but I believe that the vast majority of us do believe in some life after death - some eternal nature of the soul.

I believe it was God who determined by divine design what family we were born in to.

And I believe that this union created by God - was meant to last beyond mortality.

I believe that families are eternal. And "what God has put together - let no man put asunder".

I believe there is eternal purpose in the family unit - and that its God given design reaches beyond this life and into the eternities.

Have any of you wondered what it will be like one day when we cross "The great divide" and make that step from this world to the next.

I believe that there we will meet many of our deceased ancestors and relatives. I guess one of the greatest family reunions yet to attend.

Will we recognize our ancestors on the other side? Will we have taken the time in this life to come to understand them and their contribution to who we are today? Many of them made great sacrifice to come to this country, to provide spiritual and religious and moral direction to their family. Many of them sacrificed much to overcome challenges, religious persecution, the difficulties of settling a new country or a new land. Many of them did all they could to make life better for those to come then it was for them. Many of them gave their all in the service of their country.

update memorial info
You have many memorials on many of my family members. Many of them are buried at Antioch Baptist Church Monticello, MS. Many of them have passed away but their death dates are listed as "unknown".
I am requesting that you update all of their information. Thank you.

RE: John Sauls
My husband (gg grandson of John Robert Sauls) and I travelled to the John Robert Sauls Cemetery yesterday (June 4, 2015).
From the Lawrence Co Chancery Clerk's Office in Monticello, we obtained an excellent aerial photo of the county line showing how Terry Lane comes south off China Grove Road just barely west of the county line, then angles east across the county line slightly into Lawrence, and then after the turn off east to the cemetery, bends back into Lincoln Co. The lady in the Clerk's office agreed with us, that the Cemetery is located in the trees on the Lawrence Co side of the road as the opposite side is pasture and has very little trees. The land around the cemetery is taxed in Lawrence Co Sect 31 Twn 6 Range 10.
In the library, the Cemetery is in the Lawrence co Cemetery Bk; is not listed in the Lincoln Co Bk. I will be glad to take over this memorial and get the county corrected if you would like.

Ezekiel Huntington photo request
I am going to try to get this photo, however, looking at the requestor, he has much info on this person. The stephentown historical society would like the information added to their site. His birth date etc. since he is the source he should do it. maybe you can.

I am studying the CRAIG line and know it goes back to Lucy Jane (Cunningham) and Frederick KARR via Samuel HINTON and Sally KARR. Are you able to help me with info back that far?

My regards,

RE: John Sauls
Thanks Denise for your reply. The only problem is the one I had looking for it on Find-a-Grave in Lawrence Co and not thinking to look in Lincoln Co. The GPS for the cemetery is
31degrees 26.620N and 90degrees 14.605W
I will see if someone in the Lawrence Co courthouse can determine from the GPS in what county the cemetery lies. Will let you know.
