Bio Photo As a youngster Mama, would take me to family cemeteries. In the woods, in pastures, in the middle of nowhere. She would tell me who they were and how we were kin. I didn't realize then that she was expecting me to carry on the stories of our family and of their final resting places. She showed me the graves of her grandmother's first babies. She told me how her grandmother had fretted when it came time to move. "Who will care for the graves?" I didn't understand then what I know now. Time takes its toll on the stones and those in the woods can be lost.
So today I try to record what I can, even those that are not my kin. These stones represent where our loved ones rest.

If I have entered a relative/ancestor/friend of yours and you would like ownership of their memorial, please send a "correction" notice requesting the transfer - it is my pleasure to reunite family.

PHOTOS: I've walked cemeteries for those that haven't yet found them, or cannot walk them for whatever reason. I gladly give permission for the use of these photos for your research.

If I have helped you, I sure would appreciate it if you would leave flowers for my Mama - she loved them so.

Remembering Mama,

Your Mama
I just read the wonderful tribute that you wrote on her memorial. I would have liked to have known her. She must have been alot of fun to have as a mother. Bless you!! I see that her her father is a Summer. Is she related to Hugh Summer, husband of my Mary Summer? Just wonderin'

Mary Summer
Thank you for making the changes to Mary Summer. She is now correctly linked to her mother and father, and most of her siblings. Your hard work is appreciated!! Happy summer to you!!!

Old Midway Church
Hello! I am seeking info about Old Midway Church (not Midway CME) in Jasper County, GA that is very near (some say adjacent to) the Kelly Cemetery which you entered into F.A.G. Do you have any knowledge of this old cemetery? Several Revolutionary soldiers are buried there and the Lumsdens in Kelly Cemetery were church founders of Old Midway. Thanks for any help!
