|Melissa Gray||Headstone photos|
My grandparents are Floyd H. and Mae B. Bilke. Thank you for the pictures of their headstones. I had never seen them until tonight as I was young when they passed and lived out of state, so I didn't get to go to their funerals, nor have I been to Ft. Sam Houston to see them myself. I am so very grateful.

Thanks, LKat, for taking the time to explain your declination. I tried to find that guideline - about DOBs on markers taking prededence - in Findagrave's FAQ list but was unsuccessful. Maybe I'm using the wrong "search terms". Anyway, could you help me out, here? And would you consider updating her birth/death fields to show that she was born in Independence, MO and died in San Antonio, TX? The death certificate is pretty clear about that data. But when you declined the date of birth edit, you declined everything else! A slight flaw in the system, I'd say. Thanks so much. Tom in Kansas City, MO

Thanks LKat for your picture . I'm pretty certain he was a 101st airborne during the WW2 ... if one day you find his obit or more info could you contact me ?

Thanks LKat for obtaining the photo of Horace's marker so quickly. It is much appreciated. I credited you with the photo.
|Jerry Leist ||Everett Petersen's Headstone|
Thanks for taking and posting the photo of Master Sargent Everett Petersen's headstone. You have taken several of my requests in the past and I do appreciate you taking your time to take all of these photos.
God Bless You.
Thanks for clearing that up. When you said Palacios had a pretty cemetery, I was thinking "What are they seeing that I don't see?" LOL. Ashby Cemetery is back in the trees out in the country and altho I don't remember ever visiting there, I know the area and it is bound to be pretty.
My parents and grandparents, brother, sister, uncle, and nephew are all buried in the Palacios Cemetery.

Thank you for giving your consent to use the picture of Patricia Mormando's marker.
I'm curious. Who of your relatives is buried in Palacios Cemetery? Are you related to Patsy? She was our Salutatorian in our Class of 1958 and I believe her father managed a ranch here in the area. I remember visiting with her one week-end and climbing upon the windmill. If you would rather use e-mail, use email@example.com
