LAST ON LINE: 18 Aug 2015|
Retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer with over 29 years of service. I am also the wife of a retired US Army soldier and the mother of a soldier who was injured in Iraq from an IED but was able to complete his tour of duty! SUPPORT THE TROOPS!!!! Honor them without complaining on memorials!
My memorials are lopsided as I manage a deceased cousin's contributions to Findagrave.
Some people believe the 1900 Census is all wrong for using birth dates. If that's the case, ALL the Census are incorrect. I know for a fact a majority of my relatives are correct in the 1900 Census...research people:)
DEATH CERTIFICATES are welcomed on my memorials as they are in the public domain and, although at times there are errors, they can provide a wealth of information.
Findagrave is again changing special flowers and modifying bios if they don't approve.
SUGGESTIONS: For those making suggestions, please research and provide the researched information for me to update. Additionally; 1: If someone has a duplicate memorial, courtesy is to ask that individual to delete it FIRST before asking Findagrave to get involved, and 2. When you receive an edit request please DO NOT update the information you received and then decline the edit you received - that is just NOT cool!
HEADSTONE PHOTO VOLUNTEERS-If you volunteer and post headstone photos, please take a photo of the COMPLETE marker and please take the time to ensure your photos are posted as right side UP (not sideways or upside down). I find more and more some individuals crop the bottom of the markers off - especially on military grave sites, which does an injustice to our veterans and the photos were supposedly taken by ex-military individual(s). You took the time to take the photo, then PLEASE take the time to crop correctly.
SSDI-Regarding the "Last Residence" in the SSDI: This is the last address of record, not necessarily where the individual died. Please do not ask me to list it as the place of death on memorial pages - to do so would only be a guess.
I work hard on Findagrave and have sponsored quite a few memorials. Please be a contributor and not just a person who adds names. It's great to see the people who do provide research.

Would you like a transfer of this memorial to you, since you are a descendant?

|Gerald Williams||Willie & Claudia Hall Eudy|
Do you have photos of Willie and Claudia Hall Eudy that you could email me. If not, can you put me in touch with someone who might. Thank you, Gerald W. Williams
ps. My gr-aunt Gertrude Dunahoo was Luther Eudy's first wife.

You added a picture of his headstone. Do you remember where it was located in the cemetery. I was out there this morning and could not find his marker. The cemetery association does not have a record of where the grave is located.
Thank you so much for accepting this photo request. I appreciate your time & effort in obtaining the photo.

|Kristina Poole||Goddard and Andrews|
I recently received some edits for Goddard and Andrews which i gladly made however I was wondering about the place of birth. It is my understanding that Oklahoma did not become a state until 1907. it was two distinct territories; Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory. With that being said would you like the birth place to be listed as Oklahoma. I have ancestors whose place of birth and death occurred in both Territories and have them listed based on the date of statehood. Unless you want them changed I will leave them as you suggested. Thanks Kristina Poole-Stevens
Thanks so much!

Thank you so very much for getting the headstone photos for Donald and Hazel. Also for taking the time to research their marriages. We only knew Hazel's first name. This has completed some unknown information. The darker photo is clearer to read.
Do you know who maintains their memorials?

|Marshall Woodward||RE: John M Seward 8873171|
Thanks, I await confirmation from a cemetery on John and Nettie's son and his wife then I will create their memorials. I didn't know the name Nettie until your obit - unusual name and a puzzle if a nickname for more formal name beginning with N

I think Julia N (Morgan) Seward, your 8873168, was wife of John M Seward. Their son John Allan Seward, b 1897 d 1970, married into my maternal Marshall family. 1900 census for Julia N Seward, widow, and 2 year old son suggest this. Possibly John M Seward remarried after Lucinda died 1893?
How have you been? I haven't been very active lately, working on this old house we moved into and the weather, ITS Sooooo Hot lol. I miss it so when it cools off I'm gonna get busy again. Take care and stay cool....
