Bio Photo For a loved PetRAINBOW BRIDGE author unknownBy the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.Where the friends of man and woman do run,When their time on earth is over and done. For here, between this world and the next,Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.On this golden land, they wait and they play,Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued. They romp through the grass, without even a care,Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack. For just at that instant, their eyes have met;Together again, both person and pet.So they run to each other, these friends from long past,The time of their parting is over at last. The sadness they felt while they were apart,Has turned into joy once more in each heart. They embrace with a love that will last forever,And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.......✿.,.•*¨`*•. ☆ .•*¨`*•.✿......✿•*¨`*•. RE: Gen.vance
Wonderful, thank you!

Do you have information on date or the newspaper's name? If you would like your full name and/or your Historical Society's name in the citation, you can email it to vance at ncdcr.gov.

Robert Vance (#6) is GRid 11095.

Photo Use
Hi Gennie,

Would you be willing to let the Vance Birthplace North Carolina Historic Site use your newspaper scan (http://image2.findagrave.com/photos/2014/119/8863712_1398894681.jpg) on a webpage bio of Gen. Robert Vance?

Thank you for posting it! It's a really interesting find.

Photo Requests
Hi Gennie! I looked for your photo requests today while I was at Bridgeville cemetery, but I was not able to locate either of them. Unfortunately, there are several headstones in the cemetery that are no longer legible. Do you by any chance know if they are together, or know the location of either of the plots?

Hey there Gennie! :-)

I saw that you left a flower for the above ... wasn't sure if he was related so I thought I'd let you know that I created a bio for him. :-)

Hi,
We respectfully request permission to use John's cemetery marker photo in our personal tree. He is the husband to Bruce's 1st cousin and the photo will make a great addition to our tree.

Thanks for your consideration.

RE: Yarnall
Thanks! The Yarnall's are not relations as far as I can tell, yet must have been important for my g-grandmother to have saved the obit.I am a bit intrigued with them now though and will try to get some additional info on them. I am interested in Charles and Elizabeth Piersol Tomlinson, mid-late 1800s.
