I believe that every time someone passes away, we lose something that can't be replaced.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE researching family history. I enjoy walking in cemeteries, reading stones & figuring out their stories. It's all like a puzzle to me. If I can't figure something out the direct route, I will research alternate routes until I find the information I'm looking for.

I am interested in the following names: Burrell, DeBoer, Dieckman, Eertmoed, Ertmoed, Everwein, Fancher, Freed, Graumann, Hardy, Janssen, LandiVittori, Poe, Rawlings, Rodcay, Rodkey, Tyler, VanMeter, Vittori, Weber, Whitcomb, Whitman.

-I am a host to 5 GenealogyTrails sites.

NOTE: In Tazewell Co IL, Lakeside & Oakgrove are 2 individual cemeteries with no clear disctinction of where Oakgrove begins & Lakeside ends. There is bound to be error & confusion because of this. Just by looking at the 2, you wouldn't know there are 2 different cemeteries. There is no signage, to my knowledge, for Oakgrove.

Lillie May Fancher
Lillie May married twice also. I noticed you have her as Lillie May Newman. She divorced Rufus Newman and married Edgar Thomas Butterworth. She is buried as Lillie M Butterworth.
Henry J Loughmiller, who you have as "burial unknown" has a cemetery burial. I believe it's memorial # 103312110.
You have done an incredible job, but you need to look further than you are.
Divorce was very common in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Strangely, more common than today. One of James and Martha Fancher's granddaughter's married at least 4, possibly 5 times.
Since all these memorial appear on Ancestry, and don't update later as we add/change things, any mis-information we add now is always going to be wrong.
Many people don't even look at the memorials, they just add them. In which case, wrong info is added to their trees. IE: Minnie is being documented as dying in 1925, when she actually died in 1948. Nine trees on Ancestry have a wrong death date for her.
Please, there are hundreds of Loughmiller descendants copying our records. Just be more thorough about what you put on the web.

Carol Bush correction
You have a mistake on the grave site of Carol Bush Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown, Indiana. Washington county Indiana records show him as a her. This is a male and not a female. His was one of my line. I was born David Dean Bush. I run a genealogy research called Yesterdays Memories. It is nice to meet others who care about this. Could you please change the listing from female to mail. He shot his self over a girl friend relation that went bad and problems at home. He was only 20 years old and his family found him laying on a country road with a suicide letter in his pocket. Thank you for you help in this matter. David Dean Bush Klakamp

Walk family message
Hi, you left information about having pictures of the Walk family. I'd be interested in seeing those. Please let me know. The only Walk photo's I have are from the early 1900's.
Thanks in advance.

I did try translating with bing, but not sure it tranlated very well. Giving you the link and you can decide what to do. Hope you are having a nice spring finally.

RE: James Riley Fancher & Family
Hi! You did get the right cemetery. It's not possible for me to take photos. I live in Arizona. Just click the request a photo button. I've taken the information from the Posey township cemeteries published by the Washington County Historical Society, revised in 1991.

Salem Cemetery
I am just a member of find a grave. I notice you have a memorial in the Salem Cemetery. Living close by I wondered where it was as I hadn't heard of it. There are now 20 memorials listed there but it is "Crown Hill Cemetery" in Salem IN. It is going to get rather confusing to have Crown Hill listed as Salem. Here is the link to a searchable database of Crown Hill.
Thanks, mandopkr
