RE: Pinckney Waldrep (#3958105)
Good Evening Janet,

I was going to send you a PDF file on Davidson Green Waldrop Sr and his wife Lucy A. Fowler and their family. In this you would see what I am looking at to say Pinckney is Robert Pinckey Waldrep.

I have a picture of one marker for his father with the last name being "rop" and another with "rep".

Pinckney has a marker of "Waldress".

I could not attach the PDF file here...sorry.

Hi Janet:
Thanks for the information. Can you steer us to some kind of list or roster of who was moved to Andersonville NC from the camp you mentioned?

Elisha Listen #28466144
Hi Janet,

Thank you for creating this FAGM in 2008 for my GG Grandfather Elisha Listen. I'm writing to ask if you would be willing to transfer management to me, so I can more easily add additional links and information?

Thanks for considering request, and best regards,

Family Researcher

RE: David F. Feaga
Very helpful, thank you!

1. Yes, Emanuel Easter is Ann's father.
2. Rebecca V Sheppard is Ann's step-daughter

Next, I hope to search for records for the Cumberland Lutheran Church.

Thanks again. Tom S. Brown

RE: David F. Feaga
Thank you again for the information from the Anna Eliza widow's pension file (maiden name, marriage to Barnitz, birth date of daughter Harriett, etc.)

Might there be additional information about David F Feaga in the file? (i.e. place of birth, parents, siblings, named witnesses, Anna Eliza's parents, etc.)

I am a descendant of Andersonville survivor: William Feaga (1836-1912) a musician of the 72nd Ohio Inf Co A. He was captured at Brice's Crossroads MS June 11, 1864 and discharged June 16, 1865. When about age 10 he moved to a great aunt's son (Susan M. Feaga Holtz 1788-1870 & Jacob P Holtz 1815-1889) in Seneca Co OH. (I have his file from the National Archives).

Thank you for any help in remembering and honoring David F Feaga and William Feaga, and for helping to see if there might be a family connection (cousins, brothers, etc?).

RE: James Sutherland
You are correct. I looked at my papers and I am in agreement with you as to James death location. For some reason I have had it in my head that he died in Vicksburg and could not figure out why he would be buried in Marietta. A mystery I have spent a few years trying to solve. That is why it is good to get another perspective - The Readstown Area Historical Society sells a book of Carter Family Civil War letters that has a letter with a brief reference in it of James death. I am secretary for the Society.
Thank you so much for clearing this up about James.
